**Your Career**
We are seeking a Business Analyst to drive requirements, development, and deployment of our critical Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) system for Palo Alto Networks (PANW)Sellers, Partners and Distributors. In this role, you will be responsible for driving digital transformation utilizing cutting edge technologies to help us scale our Sales, Services Implementations with Sellers, Partners and Distributors.
**Your Impact**
+ Requirements Gathering and Analysis
+ Proactively analyze sales and quoting processes to champion opportunities for AI-driven enhancements, and collaborate with data science teams to translate business needs into functional requirements for features like guided selling or price optimization.
+ Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and documentation review
+ Translate business requirements into clear and detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases for IT projects
+ Solution Design and Validation
+ Work closely with product managers, architects, developers, and other IT teams to design and validate technology solutions that meet business requirements and align with architectural standards
+ Testing and Quality Assurance
+ Work with QA/QE function to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate system functionality, performance, and usability against business requirements - where applicable, work with QA/QE to automate test cases for regression testing
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that technology solutions meet business expectations and quality standards

**Your Experience**
+ **Must be in SF bay area to be onsite**
+ Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in business solutions, with an ability to identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements within CPQ or related sales processes.
+ Hands-on experience delivering at least one project with an AI/ML component, from initial business case and requirements gathering through to collaboration on development and user acceptance testing.
+ Minimum **5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst** or in a related field
+ Bachelor's Degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience or equivalent military experience required - Master's degree preferred
+ Knowledge and **experience with Salesforce CPQ is a must.**
+ Knowledge of the **Q2C( quote to cash)** process is preferred

Position Summary:

Provide support, oversight, and coordination for the capital development program from pre-construction activities through close-out for all varieties of projects initiated and managed by the Planning/Construction team through activities with contacts, legal issues, schedule, financial setup, and other critical tasks. Supports all levels of staff and external consultants & engineers/architects, and other vendors (see working relationships below).

Responsibilities:

1. Reporting & Correspondence

a. Collaborate with team to update Master Database to ensure current information is communicated

b. Coordinate, prepare, and distribute Job Start Notices & Site Visit Notices

c. Coordination with other departments regarding disconnect, licenses, utilities, etc.

d. Lead Store Opening calls with core team before and after project completions to ensure a smooth transition for operation (major projects)

2. Applications & Contracts

a. Assist in preparing applications (BOH and other permit apps including signs)

b. Prepare contractual documents (MSAs/MCCs/GC contracts/LOIs/NOCs/Work Orders)

c. Coordinate with construction management, GCs, and Legal when necessary regarding legal matters related to a construction projects (liens on property, etc.)

3. Miscellaneous Administrative

a. Prepare Before and After presentations for management

b. Coordination of all other project development activities

c. Document archive management (currently Filebound and eBuilder)

Working Relationships:

Internal: Interaction with the following departments: Planning, Construction, Administration, Real Estate, Environmental, Facilities, Resource Protection, Law, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Operations.

External: Communication and coordination with the following: Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Subs, Vendors, Preferred Developer, Attorneys, State/Local Officials, and Utility companies.


Minimum Education:

Associate's Degree in Business Administration or commensurate

Preferred Education:

Bachelors in Business Administration/Management or commensurate

Minimum Experience:

2 years in an office environment

Preferred Experience:

5 years+ in an office environment, multi-task, preferably construction industry but not required
