Account Executive Responsibilities:
- Drive sales process from start to finish.
- Perform the necessary research, develop a business development and marketing plan for your assigned territory and vertical market, identify and qualify opportunities, and execute sales pursuit strategies to secure sales at or above annual quotas.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and other methods.
- Act as quarterback of the solution development team to develop and deliver compelling solutions to customers per the customers' and internal deadlines.
- Initiate, build, and maintain executive level relationships.
- Work as a team player with the Business Development team.
- Manage CRM consistently as the primary means of managing sales pipeline and activity.

- Sales experience with Facilities, Facility systems, Facility operations, Energy and Utilities a plus.
- Knowledge of proactive prospecting at the financial decision-making level.
- Understanding of financial statements and operating budgets.
- Strong presenter and expert level of MS PowerPoint.
- Must be able to produce a persuasive proposal through exceptional writing skills as required for all RFP's and RFQ's.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (may include 20% overnight travel) to client sites and industry events, car allowance is included.

About the Role
The Solutions Consultant drives customer awareness regarding the value and differentiators of our products, solutions and content. This is achieved by p roactively providing consultative services to customers to ensure maximized use and understanding of LexisNexis products, content and tools by creating account-specific and persona-focused training plans. Through these activities the Consultant increases the number of active users, builds preference and uncovers leads and opportunities to help drive revenue and POS.
Responsibilities
Boosting awareness, active users, and favoritism of LN content, products, and services proactively
Partnering and collaborating with sales reps on preference driving strategies and identifying additional sales opportunities by recommending products and content that meet customer needs
Demonstrating deep product knowledge and acting as an internal resource for sales and marketing
Preparing and delivering specialized telephonic customer presentations to create new active users
Conducting market research, analyzing findings, and sharing information with relevant teams
Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
Have Juris Doctorate or degree in Legal Studies, or equivalent experience
Have impressive years of customer service, training, or sales experience is required
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills
Have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve common goals

Position Overview: Client's Communities and Local Government department seeks a dynamic team player to assist with managing grant projects through the client. Directly support the oversite of the client as well as manage projects in that program area. Pay Rate: $50. 0- 55.00/Hour Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of projects/contracts with local governments supporting the Clients programs. Work with program contractors and Community applicants to develop and process contract documents. Review deliverables and invoices; manage approvals/budgets. Complete compressive reviews of project deliverables and associated invoices. Engage with external stakeholders and customers to draw insights to improve program delivery: Identify opportunities for replication and showcase successes in ways that encourage scale across New York State. Identify and/or develop tools and resources that local governments can use to enable growth in the clean energy sector. Assist Client's external contractor (Client Coordinators) teams to provide technical assistance and local support to governments. Collaborate with State agency partners to participate in energy planning activities. Assist with the development of policies that influence, encourage and enable community leadership in areas of clean energy: Benchmark legislation, large carbon-reduction initiatives, community campaigns, and other activities that advance energy efficiency and renewable energy. Communicate with contractors (local governments) to negotiate contract terms/documents. Build out contract deliverable stages in Salesforce. Assist with solicitation development and support documentation enhancements. Other duties as assigned that contribute toward the key outcomes of the Communities and Local Government team. Qualifications: Ability to demonstrate strong strategic policy development skills. Demonstrated problem-solving ability, curiosity, resourcefulness, and adaptability. Strong public speaking and presentation skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with attention to detail. Strong computer and database skills. A genuine passion for issues related to energy, environment and economic development. Knowledge of local regulations, rules and constraints pertaining to renewable development. Experience working with local governments and/or clean energy businesses. IT systems that will be used.
