What You Will Do
Lead the creative efforts on education projects, developing overall design concepts and design presentation strategies
Mentor and provide creative direction to design teams
Act as the primary design interface with clients and consultants
Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy
Participate in business development and marketing efforts
Produce design concept drawings and finished design presentation documentation
Provide solutions to design problems and generate design alternatives
Review drawings, mockups, materials, and finish samples submitted by project contractors
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of design or architecture
20+ years of design leadership of architectural design and/or architecture projects; recent education project experience is required
Must be licensed
Experience with the Division of State Architect (DSA) requirements
Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Proficiency in Revit and other computer design programs, 3ds Max preferred
Must have a portfolio of education projects. Ideally project portfolio will show a range of planning and architectural design experience for a variety of project types (classroom buildings, libraries, student services centers, student housing, etc.).

**The base salary range will be estimated between $130,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.

A Day in the Life:
- Work side by side in a team environment with our Clients, Consultants, Design Leaders, Architects, Interior Designers, Urban Planners and Emerging Professionals on active production projects

ResponsibilitiesThe Project Director is responsible for effective delivery projects including design/technical excellence, profitability and positive client relations. Project types include small to medium complexity buildings ranging up to $30M in construction value. Responsible for managing one or more projects concurrently with minimum combined fees of $500k. The Energy Manager shall be responsible for directing and managing all elements of energy management program for a client in norther Alabama. The Energy Manager facilitates the identification, development and implementation of energy management projects and protocols. These critical initiatives help the programs achieve the overall energy reduction goals and objectives. The Energy Manager develops and maintains effective customer rapport, provides guidance and training to help others (internally to ARAMARK and externally to the client) efficiently operate the client?s energy consuming systems.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Oversee all aspects of a large energy management program for a single client site.
+ Implement energy optimization activities that will improves the operating efficiency of the building automation system (BAS) and HVAC equipment.
+ Develop scope of work, bid, and manage the implementation of energy efficiency projects.
+ Provide energy efficiency training to client personnel or staff.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor?s Degree in appropriate field with 5+ years of experience in the identification and implementation of energy efficiency projects or programs is required.
+ Professional Engineer License and/or Certified Energy Manager designation is preferred but not required.
+ Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chillers and control systems isrequired.
+ Experience analyzing the operation of HVAC systems and controls to identify and implement no-cost and low-cost actions that will increase energy efficiency.
+ Experience conducting with ASHRAE Level 1, 2, 3 energy audits.
+ Strong organizational and computer skills are necessary, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.

We are looking for an experienced, articulate, and passionate education technologist to become a Solutions Engineer (SE) having the primary objective of helping guide prospective customers in their Instructure Learning Platform evaluation process. Specifically, evaluations of Canvas LMS, Canvas Studio, Canvas Catalog, Canvas Credentials, and Impact by Instructure. Someone that will work directly with account executives to both sell and architect the best possible solution for buyers.
Solutions Engineers are the primary knowledge resource for the sales team and are responsible for actively driving and managing the functional and technical evaluation stages of the sales process. SEs are the key technical advisor and product advocate, thoughtfully considering all alternatives to arrive at best recommendations.
SEs must effectively communicate complex education and technology concepts and practices to a variety of stakeholders. This SE position will partner with our Higher Education Sales Team. The location of this position is flexible, although candidates must be willing to travel up to 60%.

+ Present the Instructure Learning Platform as a product (and Instructure as a partner) to a variety of higher education stakeholders.
+ Discover and analyze individual customer goals and challenges and map those back into the appropriate Platform solution(s).
+ Promote methods of using instructional technology to transform teaching and learning.
+ Develop and deliver tailored product demonstrations that are simple but engaging.
+ Lead in-depth, technical discussions with information technology experts.
+ Identify or develop solutions to address unique technical or functional requirements.
+ Understand and document customer requirements to support a successful evaluation and implementation.
+ Assist proposal writers with responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
+ Leverage prior education technology or solutions engineering experience to help others on the sales team achieve sales and professional development goals
