Role Overview:

As a Compliance Specialist, you will:

Support the management of the corporate assurance and audit calendar by helping coordinate internal and external audit activities.

Assist in the development, maintenance, and communication of Information Security Management System (ISMS) documentation and policies.

Gather and organize evidence required for various audits and certifications (such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and others).

Work with internal teams to ensure audit readiness and assist with audit follow-ups.

Contribute to periodic reporting on compliance status to security and business leadership and governance forums.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing and monitoring Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs).

  • Support user access reviews across infrastructure, applications, and systems, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

  • Help coordinate removal of access for terminated employees or users with changed roles, working closely with HR and IT.

  • Participate in reviewing IT change management, incident tickets, and other control activities to ensure compliance with defined procedures.

  • Support Process Owners, Control Owners, and Operators by providing guidance and documentation related to ITGCs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and support maturing internal compliance processes.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of compliance requirements and timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree OR High School diploma with 4+ years of experience in IT Audit, IT Compliance, IT Risk Management, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting audits such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or FedRAMP is preferred.

  • Familiarity with cloud environments and common DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving global environment.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical compliance issues to a wide range of audiences.

Position Overview

As a key role in the Enterprise Cybersecurity Team, the Information Security Compliance Specialist is responsible for compliance management, ensuring adherence to frameworks like CMMC and NIST SP800-171. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including policy development and strategic project management of compliance initiatives.

The Information Security Compliance Manager will help navigate increasingly complex and rapidly changing cybersecurity compliance regulations. They will lead framework-based assessments to ensure the enterprise meets all regulatory data security requirements and determine the company's preparedness for audit.

This role reports to the Sr. Director of Information Security and will be an onsite position at the Portsmouth, New Hampshire headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Lead compliance efforts related to CMMC/NIST 800-171 and other relevant government frameworks.
  • Develop and update cybersecurity policy packages and procedures to align with compliance requirements.
  • Lead internal and external cybersecurity audits and risk assessments.
  • Independently review the effectiveness of controls and control gaps based on the results of testing.
  • Provide sound recommendations for audit findings and effectively support conclusions during discussions with stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate audit issues in both technical and non-technical terms to Operational and IT management.

Cybersecurity Operations

  • Contribute to the daily monitoring and responding to cyber threats, phishing attempts, and security incidents.
  • Coordinate periodic risk assessments, tabletop exercises, and penetration testing in accordance with best industry practices.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of security operations policies, processes, and playbooks.
  • Contribute to annual awareness training of the workforce on information security standards, policies and best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with IT operations to ensure security of the global network, mobile devices, and physical security.
  • Work with senior management during tabletop and crisis management sessions.
  • Facilitate the cyber training and development of other IT members.
  • Collaborate with vendor management, procurement, and finance teams on security-related vendor assessments.
  • Maintain relationships with government contractors and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) stakeholders.

Required

  • 5 years of experience in an IT audit, governance, or information security management framework role (e.g. CIS20, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171/CMMC, ISO27001)

  • Experience with government contracting security requirements involving ITAR/CUI
  • Experience with managing projects and plans of actions and milestones (POA&Ms)
  • Experience managing risk registers, vulnerability management, and security audits
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)

Preferred

  • One or more relevant certifications (e.g. CEH, Security+, GSEC, CISSP)

In addition, they oversee the organization's comprehensive insurance and risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization.
**Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee daily management of cash and debt.
+ Oversee all back-office support for in-house banking, netting, and pooling.
+ Prepare consolidated cash flow projections.
+ Establish fixed income investment positions.
+ Assess foreign exchange risk and implement hedge programs and strategies.
+ Monitor and prepare loan covenant compliance.
+ Evaluate capital expenditures, investment activities, and portfolio management.
+ Maintain and cultivate banking, credit rating agencies, and investment banking relationships.
+ Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization (i.e., evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions, and/or mergers and investments).

+ Support investor relations.
+ Act in a lead role in capital structure, debt management, bond issuance, and/or share repurchases to ensure the most efficient use of the company's capacity and borrowed monies.
+ Support M&A activity related to treasury functions, including financial modeling, due diligence, and treasury integration.
+ Manage global insurance programs and counterparty assurance programs (surety bonds, bank guarantees and letters of credit).
+ Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities and identify and address risks in the organization's services and departments.
+ Oversee bank Know Your Customer and other banking regulatory compliance aspects.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required, or equivalent work experience
+ Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance and treasury
+ Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience
+ Knowledge of capital markets, accounting, finance, and tax
+ Technical experience in accounting standards, procedures, and policies
+ MS Office Suite experience required, with advanced Excel skills
