In the Department of Administrative Services this class is accountable for overseeing and coordinating all phases of assigned capital design and construction projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED
- College training in architecture, engineering or construction management may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree.

- Experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager for a Prime Contractor or a Professional Services Consultant.

- Experience in managing a project with formal Critical Path schedule method.
- Experience with software including Trimble Unity Construct, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Incumbents in this class may be required to possess a Professional Architect or Engineer License, Associate Constructor or Professional Constructor certification (AC or PC-American Institute of Constructors) or certificate as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT-National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying).

PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)
In the Department of Administrative Services this class is accountable for overseeing and coordinating all phases of assigned capital design and construction projects.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SPECIAL EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of the General Experience must have included performing the most complex duties in the area of engineering or coordinating all phases of design for state buildings including the architectural, engineering, cost review, equipment and physical operations. NOTE: For state employees this experience is interpreted at the level of a Construction Services Assistant Project Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED
College training in architecture, engineering or construction management may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in architecture, engineering or construction management. Experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager for a Prime Contractor or a Professional Services Consultant. Experience managing a team through pre-construction and construction phases of government, commercial or non-residential projects. Experience in managing a project with formal Critical Path schedule method. Experience with software including Trimble Unity Construct, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Incumbents in this class may be required to possess a Professional Architect or Engineer License, Associate Constructor or Professional Constructor certification (AC or PC-American Institute of Constructors) or certificate as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT-National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying). Incumbents in this class may be required to travel.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Incumbents in this class may be exposed to some risk of injury or physical harm from construction site environments and a moderate degree from year-round weather conditions.

**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Senior Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing consulting services to a high-profile healthcare client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This is a healthcare construction project management role, and the ideal candidate will have relevant healthcare construction project experience. This position does require the selected candidate to be based in California and will require roughly 30% travel.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Manage all areas of construction project management for multiple healthcare projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
+ Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
+ Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
+ Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $145,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $165,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
