Compensation:$120,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
- Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
- Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action
- Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects
- Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in a litigation law firm

**Location**
This position is managed out of Lenexa, KC, supporting an active KNS DOE construction site: Aiken, SC, Corpus Cristi, TX, Oak Ridge, TN, or Idaho Falls, ID. **Responsibilities**
- Be responsible for ensuring the project meets or exceeds its financial objectives, by overseeing and monitoring each stage of the development.
- Coordinates daily/weekly meetings with all the area superintendents and project engineers to develop means and methods, schedule contracting needs and long lead delivery times.
- Manage all field operations and work sequence in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Review project estimate or plan to determine estimated job cost, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
- Oversee and approve the monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections. Also, review, approve and negotiate change orders.
- Anticipate project needs with sufficient lead-time to avoid delay of production Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of the project, work closely with Project Manager and HR team to manage the relationship with staff and craft .
- Form and lead an effective project management team, define, and delegate management responsibilities, and set goals.
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Be an effective leader, communicate with department leads regarding work scopes.
- Ensure project superintendents understand and execute the work as required.
- Ensure safety, quality and production is maintained.
- Responsible for project closeout. Secure loose ends by finishing paperwork, obtaining retainages, supporting supervisors, and expediting claims.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline, or in lieu of a degree, 20+ years of heavy industrial construction and senior leadership experience.
- 10+ years of supervisory experience in construction management, preferably in a fixed-price environment.
+ Experienced in executing federal contracts, including statements of work, proposals, business plans, specifications, and terms/conditions.
+ Preferred to possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or registered Professional Engineer certification.
+ Experience on large-scale construction projects with significant scope including site prep, concrete, demolition, facility alteration, utility upgrades, (e.g., power, potable water, gas, steam, etc.), and installation of new systems, structures, and components.
+ Thorough knowledge of relevant international standards, specification and codes as applicable to building, civil, mechanical, and electrical installation including various Safety procedures and practices associated with the construction works.
- Familiar with technical drawings systems and planning & reporting systems.
- Ability to work with and manage unionized workers or subcontractors.
- Communication - excellent oral presentation and written skills.
- Goal-oriented - able to set goals and achieve them.
- Interpersonal - able to work well and persuade people at all organization levels.
- Compliance - Follows applicable laws, codes, regulations, or zoning for required work.
- Demonstrated clear logical written, verbal, and communication and presentation skills. Excellent Interpersonal skills to cooperate and work as a team.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to travel time from 25-50% within our Southeast or Northwest regions (TN., ID, & SC).
