The Calibration Specialist is responsible for performing the calibration and repair of various instrumentation within the facility that is used for monitoring both Critical and Non-Critical process parameters related to various manufacturing and support functions used to determine Quality decisions. Will participate in the coordination of calibration activities in order to meet established Quality, regulatory and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate / maintain analytical laboratory instruments according to site SOP's.
  • Coordinate vendor calibrations for on-site or off-site calibration service.
  • Review and approve vendor calibration documents per site standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain orderly, accurate, and accessible records of calibration maintenance and repairs performed on all instruments in compliance with cGMP/cGLP requirements.
  • Prepare / revise instrument calibration and preventive maintenance SOP's for new and existing instruments.
  • Distribute monthly calibration schedules generated from the calibration data management system to Operation/Production Management and department supervisors.
  • Ensure that the metrology's standards, tools, and other equipment are securely stored. Ensure all equipment, manuals, tools, etc. are properly returned to the delegated storage at the end of the day.
  • Develop expertise in the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of laboratory analytical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs on site instruments as needed.
  • Assist supporting departments on the selection of new, replacement of test and measurement devices.
  • Maintain Calibration files for ease of retrieving metrology documentation for audits and customer requests.
  • All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Electronics, or Science related field or equivalent practical experience strongly preferred.
  • 1-year relevant work experience ideally in a regulated environment required.
  • Preferred formal Military PMEL Training
  • Proficient interpersonal / communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Proficient Windows application software skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee onsite vendor calibration activities, ensuring all calibrations are completed to schedule.
  • Identify and manage equipment requiring off-site evaluation, ensuring timely shipment, follow-up and return.
  • Review and approve calibration certificates for accuracy, compliance, and traceability to NIST, NADCAP standards.
  • Ensure calibration compliance with relevant quality standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation for traceability.
  • Complete Defective Gage Reports and coordinate repair/replacement of defective gages
  • Review calibration recertification for release
  • Managing and scheduling onsite calibration services
  • Create and manage purchase orders for calibration services and equipment through internal procurement systems
  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for metrology and calibration equipment based on quality, delivery times, costs, and reliability.
  • Maintain a current inventory and calibration schedule using a calibration tracking systems. Indysoft background is a plus.
Job Requirements

  • Working knowledge of engineering part drawings and general understanding of metallurgy; ability to understand the physical and mechanical properties of metals as affected by composition, mechanical working and heat treatments.

    • Document procedures and workflow processes within the payroll area

  • Project Work
    • Continuous improvement of payroll processing, e.g. LOA/RTW notifications, QA checks, off cycle payments, etc.

What you will bring to the role

We are seeking a proven Payroll Specialist, with a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of payroll experience, with both a working knowledge of ADP payroll solutions, specifically Enterprise and Globalview preferred.

In addition to Payroll expertise, we are seeking a professional with comprehensive knowledge of federal, state and local payroll laws.

The annualized base pay range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.

Job Description

The Procurement Specialist main job function plans, organizes, and coordinates the activities and operations of purchasing Raw Products, Dry Goods, Supplies, Condiments, Film, and any other miscellaneous goods, enters purchase orders into the AS 400 system and update as necessary; close out po's as they are received.

  • Analyze inventory levels to determine optimal ordering quantities.
  • Place orders directly with outside vendors and internally within the company for their timely delivery. Communicate relevant information with departments on a daily basis.
  • Apply for and follow up on credit requests to ensure they have been granted on any non-conforming products or services.
  • Ensure records, files, and reports are Sarbanes Oxley compliant within the purchasing guidelines.
  • This position interfaces daily with the Materials Manager, National Raw Product, Scheduling, Shipping and Receiving, Production, Customer Service, Maintenance, and Transportation to ensure that department and company goals are continuously attained (order fill, safety, D&D, and cost reduction initiatives).
  • Develop new process improvement procedures with cross functional teams.
  • Manage supply chain projects with corporate mission critical initiatives, implement, sustain, control, and measure. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must possess demonstrated analytical abilities and be able to develop logical solutions to opportunities as they develop.
  • Ability to maintain focus and direction in a fast-paced environment and have good problem-solving skills

  • Microsoft Office, Excel, and MRP skills.
  • Good communication skills: verbal and written.
  • Must be available days, nights, and weekends.
