Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is looking for you to join our team as a Contracts Administrator/ Principal Contracts Administrator based out of Linthicum, MD. Due to the restricted nature of the program, these positions are expected to support in the office every day. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.
What You'll Get to Do:
The Contracts Administrator will join a team supporting a newly awarded major Development program in the Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) Division, Advanced Systems (AS) Operating Unit (OU). This program will be developing a new critical technology with both a Prime and USG classified customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the Program team, including Program Management, Business Management, and Global Supply Chain. The Contracts Administrator will act as the primary interface with business partners and prime/USG customers contract administration, contract change management, and proposal preparation/negotiation.
The Contract Administrator will manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Additionally, the Contract Administrator will ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood, ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information.
Associated responsibilities include:
- Reviewing terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, and all other potential risk areas and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
- Developing solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs under guidance from team lead and management.
- Assisting management in achieving financial goals related to cash management and sales.
- Preparing written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters.
- Maintaining contract data into the Enterprise Accounting System.
- Ensuring timely delivery of all contractual deliverables.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for a Contracts Administrator:
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in contracts / related field - OR - a Master's degree with 1 year of experience in contracts / related field - OR - 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with FAR/DFARS as well as experience with different contract types is required
- Experience researching FAR/DFAR information.
- Current DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in contracts / related field - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in contracts / related field - OR - 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with FAR/DFARS as well as experience with different contract types is required
- Experience researching FAR/DFAR information.
- Current DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with most recent periodic investigation having been completed in the last five years.
- Experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense Industry.
- Experience with USG and Prime customers.
- Experience working restricted programs, proven ability to work in closed areas with moderate oversight.

Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $05,800.00Salary Range 2: 87,000.00 - 130,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
- 6+ years' experience managing full contracts and subcontracts life cycle management in a government contractor environment or in a similar role

Position Title: Commercial Team – Contract Administrator – CMAR Position Description Summary The Mega Projects Contract Administrator supports the Contract Manager and is responsible for administration of the CMAR Package A contracts. This position assists with developing comprehensive and compliant processes, plans, templates, logs, and policies for the contract lifecycle from award through implementation and close-out. It serves as an SME regarding assigned contract packages to ensure adherence to contract requirements. The role may oversee high-value construction and installation contracts and assists the Commercial Manager in reviewing contractor invoices and payments. It interfaces with CMAR personnel and participates in report development and presentations. Responsibilities Include Assist in developing a timeline for contract development. Develop and maintain various monthly reports related to program management. Review charges to projects and address variances or deficiencies. Review project schedules and escalate issues as needed. Provide project budget information weekly/monthly. Maintain processes ensuring financial accountability and monitor contract/subcontract expenditures. Assist with processing and approval of payment vouchers, analyze errors, and make corrections. Support post-construction activities and contract close-out. Skillset(s) and/or Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and understand contracts and compliance manuals, including regulations. Skill in applying standards related to transportation construction, constructability review, problem resolution, and procurement. Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications, including financial and document management platforms. Excel skills sufficient for managing logs and spreadsheets. Effective stakeholder communication and conflict resolution skills within a contract compliance framework. Degree Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or college; JD preferred. Required Qualifications Substantial (15+) years of experience in business, law, procurement, contract or project administration, or related fields such as construction management, engineering, or transportation planning. Familiarity with engineering construction principles, highway/tunnel/rail construction, and quality assurance/quality control methods. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degrees such as MBA, J.D., MS Management, or LLM. NCMA Certification. Prior accounts payable experience. Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our Contract Administration team in the Restricted Emerging (RE) Operating Unit (OU) within Advanced Mission Capabilities (AMC) Business Unit (BU). This position will be hired as a **Contract Administrator (A02).** This is a full-time, on-site position located in **Linthicum, Maryland.**
**What You'll Get to Do:**
The Contracts Administrator will join a team supporting a major portfolio within the Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) Division, Restricted Emerging (RE) Operating Unit (OU). This portfolio supports both Prime and USG classified customers via contracts that develop new critical technology, support low rate initial production deliveries, and shape sustainment efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with the Program team, including Program Management, Business Management, and Global Supply Chain. The Contracts Administrator will act as the primary interface with business partners and prime/USG customers contract administration, contract change management, and proposal preparation/negotiation.
The Contract Administrator will manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Additionally, the Contract Administrator will ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood, ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information.
Roles and responsibilities of the Contracts Administrator will encompass the following, and vary slightly depending on specific program to which you are assigned:
+ Maintain and update contract documents and official program records, including contractual documents and correspondence.
+ Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters
+ Work under general supervision to develop solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements.
+ Provide direct contract support, review contractual documents to ensure protection of company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies.
+ Review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW)/contract requirements and advise the program team on terms and conditions
+ Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
+ Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
+ Develop proposal packages, in a timely manner and in accordance with established procedures. Ensure proposals are fully responsive to customer requirements, coordinate appropriate levels of internal review for approval prior to submission.
+ Provide proposal support including taking an active role in creating contract proposal volumes, supporting fact finding and the negotiation process.
+ Maintain and provide status and tracking information on customer requests.
+ Collaborate with other functional groups (finance, supply chain, mission assurance, legal, etc.) to address customer requests.
+ Duties may also include the preparation and maintenance of proprietary information agreements, memorandum of understanding and other types of agreements.
This role will have significant visibility within high visibility programs, including Division and Sector reviews, requiring management of tight deadlines in a complex environment. This individual must have the ability to meet high performance expectations in a very dynamic environment. Excellent communication is a must as the selected candidate will be directly involved in negotiations with the customer as a strategic team member. **Qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications for a Contract Administrator (A02) level:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 2+ years of professional experience in a related field - OR - Master's degree. Will consider 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree requirement.
+ Experience using MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
+ US citizenship required
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Contracts processes and procedures
+ Proposal preparation and negotiation experience
+ Prior experience with Fixed Price contracts, especially in Aerospace and Defense
+ Experience using strong leadership skills as well as experience multi-tasking in a challenging environment
+ Experience with FAR/DFARs

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
