We seek a Corporate Communications Co-op who will work collaboratively as a member of the corporate communications team, reporting to the director of global communications, to implement a dynamic and engaging internal and external communications strategy for one of the world's most respected pet food brands.
The successful candidate will support the creation, delivery and measurement of various corporate communications, focusing on storytelling, customer experience and on-time project delivery. The role regularly collaborates across the division team to ideate and execute projects to meet communications goals. As a part of the Hill's global communications team, this role will also have an indirect but important connection with Hill's parent company, Colgate-Palmolive's corporate communication team.
**What Will You Do?**
Internal Communications:
+ Collaborate with the Hill's corporate communications team in creating and delivering innovative communication campaigns and projects - including brainstorming, routes for delivery, user experience, messages/design to support the project goals.
+ Assist in creating email, newsletters, digital signage, presentation materials, printed materials, toolkits, intranet pages, and more.
+ Support the planning and execution of employee engagement communications projects (employee resource groups, recruitment, onboarding and employer branding).
+ Contribute to event planning of quarterly town halls and other large corporate events.
External Communications:
+ Assist with writing press releases, social media copy, award submissions, messaging documents, and more.
+ Compile weekly media monitoring reports.
+ Track employer branding tool metrics and suggest regular optimizations.
+ Support the implementation of the global Hills Cares corporate philanthropy program.
General Communications Support:
+ Provide administrative support to the corporate communications team, including data entry, analysis, and file management.
+ Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
+ Stay up-to-date on communications trends and cultural events to bring fresh ideas to the team.
+ Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of Hill's.

What You'll Bring:
+ Currently a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a degree in public relations, marketing, communications studies, organizational communication, or a related field.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including knowledge of AP Style.
+ Strong interpersonal skills

+ Strong organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
+ Proficient in using Google Workspace applications (Google docs, Google sheets, Google slides) and Canva.

This is a paid Co-op (part time intern) position for 9 months, preferably from January 2026 through September 2026. Twenty part-time hours are preferred during the school year, and full-time hours during the summer of 2026.

**Compensation and Benefits**
Salary Range 20.00 - 24.50 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. **We are seeking an experienced communications manager to join EchoStar's Corporate Communications team. The Corporate Communications Manager will support several key EchoStar business lines:** **DISH TV, Sling TV and Boost Mobile in the development and execution of integrated communications strategies that engage media and drive subscriber acquisition.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop strategic, targeted brand communications plans aligned with needs of the business; understand and simplify complex ideas / technical issues and make them relatable to those outside the industry; manage proactive media programs; and drive strategic planning initiatives
+ Partner with Marketing, Programming, Product and Operations teams to develop compelling stories that amplify our leadership position; serve as corporate communications subject matter expert; and follow public relations best practices for integrated campaigns, measurement, trends and media opportunities
+ Manage campaign reporting and develop future campaigns based on lessons learned
+ Work cross-functionally to build communications strategies that engage customers and partners, drive brand affinity and support subscriber growth; serve as trusted communications advisor to the company; provide constructive feedback to executives; staff interviews and presentations
+ Manage the creation and routine updates of PR materials including fact sheets, media pitches, FAQs, executive bios, press releases, blog posts; engage on crisis communications topics
+ Secure national, local and trade earned media placements; actively pitch, conduct proactive follow-up, and track and report results
+ Develop strategies and provide cross-functional guidance when launching PR projects and campaigns; conduct proactive follow-up, and track and report results
+ Manage other corporate communications team members, train and develop other corporate communications team members
+ Oversee cross-functional resources; model a collaborative and team-oriented approach; work collaboratively throughout the business
+ Effectively communicate with senior leaders, including presenting strategy and results; encourage partnership, enthusiasm and strategic thinking
**Skills, Experience and Requirements**
**Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing or similar applicable field and/or combination of relevant experience
+ 8-12 years of professional PR / communications experience
**Skills and Qualifications:**
**Solid grasp of AP style and ability to draft all media materials based on these guidelines**
**Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;** **including strong media relations skills; experience writing news releases, blog posts, pitches, speeches and other written materials; experience in creating and drafting engaging social media content**
**Experience in consumer PR; demonstrated ability to use creative thinking to develop PR opportunities, media stories and social media content; experience using integrated social media tactics to supplement PR activities is a plus**
**Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills; ability to communicate recommendations and present new ideas to management / executive leadership**
**Strict attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines; solid organizational and project management skills; ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage projects autonomously**
**Proven ability to transform data, reports and analytics into strategic recommendations and action plans**
**Background developing and delivering strategic media relations campaigns for consumer tech products**
**Task manager skilled in communication program planning and execution**
**Experience in building media relationships across tech, business and consumer media outlets**

**Overview**
THE ROLE:
Herbalife is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist who is passionate about storytelling, thinks strategically, has strong media relations skills and has a proven track record of securing media coverage and delivering outstanding results. In this role, the Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns to drive brand and company affinity, top-of-mind awareness, and positive reputation,especially in the areas of corporate social responsibility (CSR), community engagement, and social impact initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, journalism, or media relations, with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with members of the media. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, this role requires excellent communication skills, with strong writing ability a requirement. The role also requires creativity and the ability to work collaboratively with Corporate Communications team members and collaborators across the business.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
- Develop and implement strategic PR plans and campaigns. Pitch stories and secure media coverage across print, broadcast, and online channels.
- Develop innovative storytelling efforts across traditional and new channels to include multimedia and cross-channel strategies.
- Compose and distribute engaging press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials. Develop media content, including bylines, as part of integrated communications campaigns that ensure consistent messaging and support business priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and influencers.
- Proactively pitch stories, respond to media requests and manage requests for information.
- Working with Corporate Communications Coordinator, monitor and analyze media coverage.
- Schedule and lead all aspects of media interviews including spokesperson training, media backgrounders and detailed briefing materials.
- Monitor industry and competitive landscape, report relevant updates to key organizational partners, and engage relevant organizational team members for support on reactive communication strategies and applicable materials, as needed.
- Support crisis and issues management efforts. Effectively collaborate with internal partners to develop plans and responses to potentially controversial or detrimental media coverage.
