**Position Purpose:**
The Corporate Security Investigator conducts investigations across the Corporate Security portfolio. + 65% - Case Management - Own the status of all assigned cases within the case management system. Properly inventories and secures all evidence connected to assigned cases. Reviews classify and sort both electronic and physical evidence. Provides routine updates to department leaders on case status and fraud prevention/mitigation plans. Leverage multiple online databases and search tools to identify fraud and gather data connected to criminal e-commerce fraud, including internal and external criminal behavior; compile reports for Corporate Security leaders and build investigative packages for referral to law enforcement. Operate multiple e-tools including database aggregator, social media aggregator, big query, write, edit and run SQL searches, search and retrieve store CCTV, NPF CCTV, among other investigative tasks.
+ 35% - Cross-Functional Collaboration & Investigation Governance - Partners with and responds to requests from the Online business unit; including the Online Contact Centers, Customer Care and Resolutions, Legal, Human Resources, Merchandising, and Finance among other internal and external partners. Provides business records, video recordings, call recordings, and other data connected to the investigative process as needed by internal partners or Law Enforcement. Partner with Law Enforcement to provide briefings on investigative findings and refer case packages for prosecution; supports internal events requiring a security presence and augment the security officer footprint.

**Role Description:**
This role is for a Corporate Security Professional within the Corporate Security & Safety Operations team. It reports to a Director of Corporate Security and involves a broad range of responsibilities, including investigations, audits, threat management, and cross-functional collaboration. We are looking for a seasoned professional with deep investigative experience, strong ethical standards, and the ability to operate independently in a complex corporate environment. **Responsibilities:**
- Investigations: Planning and executing sensitive investigations, including fraud, corruption, theft, and insider threats.
- Security Audits: Conducting physical security audits to ensure compliance.

**Overview**
Burlington is hiring a **Corporate Security Supervisor** to oversee and enhance safety, security, and asset protection across our corporate or buying office locations. This role leads the development and implementation of physical security protocols, emergency response procedures, and life safety programs-serving as a key responder to all related incidents, including crisis situations.
The Supervisor will drive a strong security culture for all corporate associates, including executive leadership, and execute strategies across areas such as access control, fire and life safety, CCTV, alarm response, and visitor management. Responsibilities include direct or indirect supervision of internal and third-party security staff, while influencing safety for over 500 associates in the assigned offices.
This role manages fire/life safety systems and equipment, including operation of the Fire Command Station, and ensures full compliance with emergency plans. The Supervisor also leads crisis and incident response efforts, enforces corporate security policies, and identifies opportunities for expense reduction through theft prevention and payroll oversight.
Additionally, the Supervisor may represent the Manager of Corporate Security as needed and will engage cross-functionally across all levels of the organization, contributing to ongoing initiatives and fostering a proactive, accountable safety environment.
**A Day in the Life:**
+ Lead and own all responsibilities related to Fire Safety and Emergency Action Plans and response for all crisis and emergencies
+ Responsible for supporting and driving a safety and security culture forall corporate associateswithin corporate or buying office locations
+ Lead efforts on the development and delivery of emergency response programs
+ Develop tailored training and awareness materials as directed by Manager for corporate associates
+ Identify and maintain exceptional 3rd party vendors that support physical security, fire safety and upkeep of industry standard equipment/technology
+ Be a part of the development and communicate key corporate security strategies with corporate associates, peers and leadership
+ Own visitor management system and access control systems for all positions within the locations as well as validation of key routines
+ Support Fire/Life Safety efforts on behalf of the organization as directed by the Manager/Sr. Manager/Director
+ Provide/coordinate all emergency response training for locations as well as any related security or safety learning module support for all corporate associates
+ Responsible for ensuring security personnel internally or externally are trained and certified to effectively respond to emergencies
+ Must be able to provide clear direction, information, and assistance to all associates, guests, and visitors
+ Respond to and manage all fire and burglar alarms asdirected by theManager/Sr. Manager/Director,ensure that all floors have a fully staffed fire safety teamwith routinely executed drills to identifyrisk
+ Ensure that all floors have fire safety teams, including Fire Wardens, Deputy Fire Wardens, and Building Evacuation Team members
+ Provide effective security for corporate locations including physical security, safety, alarm response, access control, visitor control and CCTV, validation of routines daily
+ Responsible for the selection, training, supervision, and management of the Corporate Office Security associates
+ Works with office leadership in all offices to ensure consistent physical security standards
+ Identify and Recruit Top Talent for Guard teams and Corporate Security staff
+ Fosters Effective Internal and External Communication through regular statuses with team and partners.
+ Work closely with Facilities and support Leadership on weather-related issues (warnings, closures, etc.)
+ Experience influencing and informing associates around security protocols
+ Key responder and planner for mitigating risk in partnership with leader and other business pyramids around workplace violence and life safety for all associates in the location
**You'll Come With:**
+ Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent number of years of experience in a security leadership position including direct report leadership
+ 4-6 years of leadership experience in security, directly managing and developing a team
+ Proven experience engaging and supporting high-level executives across a range of corporate security programs and strategies within the corporate space
+ Proven ability to support multi-unit business areas while partnering with cross-functional teams to align on initiatives that enhance overall business performance) Former Law Enforcement/Fire Department/leader level a plus
+ Proficient in MS suite programs/Power Point/Excel/E-mail and internet
+ Foundational knowledge on key basic AP technology such as cameras, physical access control systems, burglar/fire alarms
+ Experience supervising and managing teams in multiple locations
+ Experience implementing policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Action Plans, and post orders.
+ Experience planning and conducting emergency response drills and training sessions.
+ Experience supervising contracted security guard/officer forces Preferred **:**
+ Experience with Genetec or similar access control management systems
+ Experience creating and documenting standard best practices a plus
+ Driver's license required
+ Security license is preferred, but not required
+ Certified trainer for all emergency first aid, AED, Bloodborne pathogens preferred, but not required
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time if needed
+ Ability to raise or lower objects weighing up to 25 lbs., from one level to another
+ Ability to climb stairs, ramps or ladders occasionally during shift if needed
+ Respond appropriately during crisis events
+ Regularly bend, stoop, or crouch (frequency and duration will vary per daily business need)
+ Willingness to travel to nearby corporate locations as directed for assignments
+ Must be willing to work off hours and weekends
* Must be able to work all shifts scheduled, primarily Monday through Friday, including certain holidays, with additional needs for specific events
