Job Description

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Ability to use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.

Responsible for keeping vehicles clean, maintained, and completing daily vehicle inspections prior to operating.

Responsible for keeping delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected secure at all times.

Pick up customer returns, i.e., new, warranty, cores, etc. and fill out driver return slip.

Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.

Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.

Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day's business.

Clock in/out according to company policy.

Other additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.

May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks, when business dictates. (i.e.: phones, sales and service)

All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.

Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.

Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
Desired:

Familiar with automotive parts.

Ability to operate other light store equipment.

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely distribution of all RRD material to residents in an efficient and safe manner. This position is responsible for selecting, orientating, and monitoring the performance of independent verifiers and maintaining good business relationships with the distribution carriers.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accountable for dispatching and assigning independent verifiers based on client demands and service requirements.
  • Safe driving of own vehicle for inspection of routes and product specifications.
  • Communicate accurate information of route information including time of delivery, quality of delivery and any independent verifier issues.
  • Assist independent verifiers with coaching, route mapping questions, schedule changes, product information and on time deliveries.
  • Perform route inspection including product checks in assigned areas, as well as manage independent contractor performance or navigation tracking, as needed.
  • Ensure that any complaints received related to, and product delivery receives prompt attention and resolve.
  • Receive, investigate, and review complaints to maintain excellent customer service to both clients and residents.
  • Review scheduled services and to make recommendations as to how cost could be reduced, or timeliness improved.
  • Successfully select, contract, orientate and monitor the performance of independent verifiers to ensure all deliveries are made in accordance with the terms of our contract.
  • Develop and maintain good rapport with independent verifiers towards achieving on time delivery goals and reduction of complaints.
  • Respond to critical vendor scheduling changes as assigned, taking appropriate measures to ensure delivery best practices are adhered to.
  • Maintenance and updates to various software including but not limited to: PCD ACCESS, MS Office, delivery tracking software.
  • Maintains updated, organized paper files on customer accounts including contracts. Communicate findings of delivery complaints to team members including but not limited to resident complaints, client complaints and non-delivery complaints.
  • Assist PCD administration with mapping and maintaining good delivery route descriptions and detours.
Qualifications

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 3-5 years delivery inspection or route leadership experience preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES
  • Required, (Valid Driver's License)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Ability to drive own dependable, licensed, and insured motor vehicle. Good driving skills required.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to standardized rules, procedures and safety guidelines while working and operating own vehicle.
  • Good understanding of route mapping.
  • Great mathematical aptitude.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Great problem solving and excellent communication skills.

Additional Information

The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $16.82- 19.23/ hour. Starting pay decisions
are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications,
skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business
needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on
the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay. RRD's benefit offerings include

As the VP of Technology Services and Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in aligning strategic initiatives and driving technical delivery excellence within the Engineering Services and Delivery organization. Reporting directly to the SVP, you will provide strategic support, project leadership, and serve as a trusted advisor, while also overseeing key functions typically associated with such a role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple support teams responsible for advanced technology design, development, integration, testing, training, deployment, operations and/or maintenance efforts.
- Direct multiple activities of an integrated team of technical, organizational, and business process improvement staff to execute the business plans, interface with other functions and outside personnel, investigate and resolve problems, and prepare capital and operating budget requests.
- Oversee all aspects of the business unit to include the operational performance, strategic planning, contracting actions, subcontractor management, human resources assignments, recruiting, hiring, financial management, budgeting, and business development.
- Work proactively and effectively with clients, and deliver high quality work products in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership in recommending, developing, and communicating approaches for resolving specific issues.
- Effectively communicate with personnel at all levels in the organization, preparing and briefing senior management on contract performance regularly.

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Partner with the SVP to define, operationalize, and communicate the strategic vision for IT Engineering and Delivery.

• Translate high-level goals into actionable programs and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.

• Manage key strategic initiatives from planning through execution, often acting as project owner or executive sponsor.

Delivery Oversight & Operational Excellence

• Work with engineering, product, and delivery leaders to improve program/project delivery performance and outcomes.

• Track and report progress on KPIs, OKRs, and key engineering initiatives; anticipate risks and proactively resolve roadblocks.

• Promote adoption of delivery best practices, Agile frameworks, DevOps, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Develops, submits and manages the operational and budgetary requirements for technology solutions to support OCDIO strategy and business needs. Submits regular progress reports to management in context of timeliness, performance, quality, and costs to ensure all projects are undertaken on time and to an approved budget.

Organizational Effectiveness

• Optimize team structures, processes, and communication flow across global IT and engineering teams.

• Drive cadence for executive reviews, staff meetings, and key leadership forums.

• Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms for business operations, resource planning, and budget management.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Act as a liaison between the SVP and his directs and their staff, including internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and follow-through on commitments, goals and metrics.

• Prepare briefings, presentations, and strategic communication materials for board-level, customer, and partner engagements.

• Drive alignment and collaboration across IT, business units, finance, HR, and other functions.

Leadership & Special Projects

• Represent the SVP in cross-functional meetings and on governance bodies as needed.

• Lead special projects, task forces, or crisis management efforts on behalf of the SVP.

• Mentor high-potential team members and build leadership bench strength.

• Lead cross functional teams to implement projects in support of both internal and external customers. Partners with cross-functional technology and business leaders and end users to create a vision for how technology can be a competitive differentiator.

Required:

• Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study.

Master Degree in Engineering or Business Administration is a plus.

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in technology organizations, with a strong background in Integrated application / solution implementation, delivery and O&M using a combination COTS, SaaS and custom application, solution strategy optimizing teams, tools, processes to meet and exceed client satisfaction.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge and expertise across digital technologies and services with emphasis on enterprise wide business solutions, cloud services and capabilities and engineering practices with a strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends such as AI/ML and data sciences.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years experience.

MBA or advanced degree in a related discipline.

• Experience in medium and large scale application development and implementation of enterprise SaaS, engineering solutions, or large-scale IT transformation.

• Familiarity with reporting and collaboration tools (e.g., Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Smartsheet).

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) preferred.
