Description:
The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Labor and Delivery specialty.
The nurse will be responsible for managing up to 2 patients during labor and up to 8 patients for postpartum/couplet care.
The role includes triaging obstetrical patients and assisting with high-risk deliveries.
The nurse will circulate for C-sections and recover patients post C-section.
Experience with high-risk antepartum care is essential.
Knowledge in the use of IUPC placement and calibration is required.
The nurse will utilize anticoagulants, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining central lines, teaching, and support for neonatal care.
The unit provides interdisciplinary support with various specialties available.
The capacity of the unit includes 28 beds with a daily census of approximately 19 patients.
All candidates must be prepared to meet specific floating policies as needed.

Job Summary The Medical Assistant supports patient care by performing clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of a medical provider. - Assists providers with non-invasive medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
- Prepares and cleans exam rooms before patient visits and clinical procedures.

Qualifications
