**Summary:** Like a CSR (Customer Service Representative) I, a CSR II provides the same core customer service support to the organization by responding to customer inquiries about product, price and lead time; accepts, verifies, enters and confirms customer orders; may process warranty and/or return orders and related reimbursements.
This position is normally filled by advancement from CSR I, or, when filled from the outside, requires prior experience. A CSR II works under general supervision and, within a framework of established procedures, is expected to perform a wide variety of general duties with only occasional instruction or assistance. Adequate performance at this level requires a knowledge of VBI's policies and procedures, and the ability to choose among alternatives in solving problems. Additionally, a CSR II should show a fair level of familiarity with Vapor products and know how to view exploded bills-of-material to determine component part numbers.
A CSR II is expected to work productively even in the absence of a supervisor or manager. Employees in this class may be called upon to resolve difficult, sensitive or more complex functions with little supervisory input. Work is normally reviewed only on completion and for overall results.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Receives, processes and verifies the accuracy of orders from customers utilizing VBI's Oracle system and customer purchase orders.
+ Knowledgeable and able to process Commercial, International and Transit & Bus/Relay orders.
+ Initiates required action for response to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicates changes to the appropriate personnel/departments.
+ Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem and most appropriate solution; following up to ensure resolution.
+ Ensures and provides quality service to both internal and external customers.
**Education/Experience:**
Associates Degree or equivalent, with a minimum three to five years progressive customer service experience

+ Process customer driven driver/vehicle data changes to include but not limited to:

This is an inbound project related to new marketing campaigns helping utility customers save money, make their homes more efficient and help our climate through change. Along with supporting this project, you will be cross trained in outbound support as well, which involves outbound calls to potential customers.
Responsibilities:
+ Receiving inbound and making outbound calls to potential and current customers around energy efficiency, providing quality customer service.
+ Support multiple programs and platforms of services including visit scheduling, customer enrollment, program offering education, tech support, online support, and/or status updates.
+ Wide range of support scripts - verbatim, talking points, or simple usage guides
+ Utilize chat/email interactions for communication with customers
+ Personal performance data and progress accessible in real time
+ Accurately document and update customer records in the computer system.
+ Proactively offer products and schedule sales appointments
+ Outbound calls to potential customers around services
Qualifications:
+ Prior call center experience
+ Strong customer service and administrative skills
+ Sales oriented with focus on customer service satisfaction.
+ Prefers to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Microsoft office skills
+ Type 35 WPM
+ High speed internet- 10 Mbps upload / 20 Mbps download
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Shift: 9am-5pm central time
- This is a 3-6 month contract with possibility for extension

Overview:
This is a customer service-focused role with a strong emphasis on email communication and case resolution-not a high call volume position. You'll be part of the Customer Support team, working closely with Account Managers to support fleet management operations and ensure a seamless experience for drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for driver inquiries, providing support via email, phone, and Salesforce case management.
+ Assist with vehicle ordering and address service-related issues such as impounds, billing changes, and insurance card distribution.
+ Educate drivers on available services and guide them through next steps for resolution.
+ Conduct detailed research to resolve complex issues, often requiring creative problem-solving and cross-department collaboration.
+ Communicate regularly with internal departments using Microsoft Teams and other internal tools.
+ Manage a high volume of customer emails and service cases using Salesforce CRM.
+ Make outbound follow-up calls to gather missing information or provide updates.
+ Enter and update customer information in real-time while engaging with them.
+ Utilize internal systems to create vehicle selectors, generate reports, and process driver data changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of office-based customer service experience
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Excellent grammar and professional email etiquette
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel - basic level)
+ Comfortable working across multiple databases and monitors
+ Strong typing skills (minimum 40 WPM - typing test required)
+ High attention to detail and ability to multitask
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
+ Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
+ Experience in fleet management or logistics support
+ Exposure to case management systems and internal service desk tools
