We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer with strong experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure while protecting our organization's data, systems, and networks from cyber threats.
Responsibilities
· Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks
· Coordinate with vendor technical support for complex issues and develop plans and strategies for system upgrades
· Assess security advisories and software vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans
· Consult with business teams regarding threat mitigation best practices in technical areas such as Perimeter Security, CASB, Application Security, Core Systems, EDR, Cloud, and SIEM
· Implement and manage network security tools including firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, and web proxies
· Monitor network traffic and analyze potential security threats

Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
· 4-8 years of experience in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, and security tools
· Strong understanding of network protocols, security frameworks, identity and access management (IAM), and system administration
· Expert level understanding of perimeter security controls, endpoint controls, and cloud environment controls
· Experience with network infrastructure including switching, routing, VPN technologies, and wireless networks
· Proficiency in using security tools like SIEM systems, vulnerability scanning tools, EDR, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and DLP
· Knowledge of operating systems like Windows and UNIX
· Basic scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor to both technical and non-technical audiences

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Joint Staff J6 Joint Assessment Division (JAD) conduct system of systems interoperability assessments as well as Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) datacentricity assessments. The candidate will participate as a member of an integrated team solving technical problems during installation and operation of computer and information security programs at JAD garrison and deployed environments; the candidate will also conduct services to minimize vulnerability and ensure network access.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Manage compliance systems including Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), non-SCCM, and Tempest Control

- Lead Technical Security Operations: Oversee and direct day-to-day information system security operations, providing expert guidance on all technical security matters as the ISSM.

**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. The Network Operations Center (NOC) Cyber Lead will manage and direct the Cyber team members performing the day-to-day operations and administration of network monitoring systems, identifying and reporting incidents, resolving and tracking incidents to maintain system availability and optimal network performance. This role is responsible for the managerial and technical oversight of NOC Cyber activities including workforce direction, processes, and reporting. This role manages NOC Cyber services to support optimized Cyber performance to meet or exceed contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
**HOW A NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER CYBER LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:**
+ **Oversight** for network, cyber and physical security monitoring systems

+ Experience and expertise in supporting Certification and Accreditations (C&As) for IT systems within the DoD. The likely salary range for this position is $91,800 - $124,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

**THE JOB**
The Manager Cyber Security Risk will focus efforts on managing and reporting on cyber risks globally across WBD. You will play a crucial role in assessing, managing, and driving mitigation of risks associated with our wider cybersecurity program. You will drive a comprehensive risk management program, while supporting peer cybersecurity teams in maturing and standardizing their programs.
