**Position Overview**
This role is responsible for overseeing data management, analysis, and strategic reporting for Buffalo Promise Neighborhood and Westminster Community Charter School. This includes leading all data initiatives, ensuring accurate performance metrics, and transforming raw data into actionable business insights to support decision-making and strategic planning. Key responsibilities include managing a Lead Data Analyst, identifying data needs, building data systems, and developing and maintaining dashboards that track program effectiveness. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing data management policies and procedures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. Responsibilities will include producing board and donor presentations, implementing key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating impact reports to communicate BPN's progress and outcomes. Additionally, this position provides support for the school's IT infrastructure and assists with related operations and risk mitigation, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills are essential, as the role involves coaching team members, managing cross-functional projects, and influencing key business decisions.
**Day to Day Responsibilities**
**Oversee Buffalo Promise Neighborhood and Westminster Community Charter School Reporting and Monitoring of Data and Performance Metrics:**
+ Supervisor of Lead Data Analyst
+ Work with various stakeholders (program managers, school staff, etc.) to ensure effective use of data for program evaluation and fundraising efforts
+ Lead all data initiatives; identify data needs, set deliverables, and build out of data systems
+ Manage data systems, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and secure
+ Transform raw data into useful business insights for decision making and strategic planning
+ Utilize in-depth industry knowledge to draw relevant insights and utilize complex statistical models and algorithms to deliver strategies for effective data analysis
+ Perform analysis of results, evaluate data trends and measure outcomes
+ Provide coaching, direction, and leadership to team members and program managers to utilize data to influence future business decisions to achieve results and desired outcomes
+ Support reporting needs and modeling for strategic plan initiatives and assists in reporting and workflow improvement initiatives
**Buffalo Promise Neighborhood Stakeholder and Impact Reporting:**
+ Responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards to track performance and outcomes
+ Produce Program Dashboards
+ Develop a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and leading/lagging indicators that provide actionable insights in support of program evaluation and decision-making
+ Perform Program Analysis
**Strategic Theme Tracking, Reporting & Storytelling:**
+ Produce a BPN Impact Report
+ Contribute to strategic decisions through data driven insights
+ Work with external stakeholders on data sharing and reporting requirements
+ Produce Board and Funder/Donor presentations
+ Develop tracking systems to measure progress of strategic planning initiatives
+ Ensure information and data is accessible and effectively communicated
+ Stays current on best practices and trends in data management, particularly in the non-profit sector
**School IT & Data Support:**
+ Oversees the information technology function and technology infrastructure at Westminster Community Charter School
+ Responsible for ensuring secure and operational systems and infrastructure; this includes all technology and data programs, including the management of applications, business continuity, information/data security, and IT projects
+ Provides technical support for data systems and training as needed
+ Complete other related duties as assigned

Drive Internal Audit in meeting departmental objectives and support the Company's achievement of its business goals. In this role, we are looking for an independent self-starter with experience in both data analytics and auditing who will manage various internal audit projects including evaluating our data landscape through operational/financial/SOX compliance or other investigations. This role will be responsible for developing reports and analyses leveraging diverse data sources and advanced analytical techniques.
A successful candidate will lead the Internal Audit team in the development and expansion of data analytic skillsets with various visualization tools. They should have a proven track record of using data analytics to drive business insights and improvements, showcasing their ability to apply innovative solutions to complex problems, while also demonstrating robust auditing experience to ensure thorough evaluation and accuracy.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in creating detailed reports and performing complex analyses using modern data technologies like Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake, and related cloud offerings. In addition, they will have experience with auditing practices, methodologies, and compliance frameworks, enabling them to bridge data analytics with internal audit objectives effectively.
**This position has been segmented as 100% Virtual meaning the work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or United States Territories. If the selected individual is located in the Chicago area this position would be designated as Hybrid meaning there is a combination of three onsite days and the rest remote.**
+ Assist the Snr Manager of IT Audit in leading the department to develop, implement and drive the data analytics strategy for the Internal Audit Department
+ Contributes to department strategies and initiatives including control identification and testing.
+ Manages objectives, scope, time, budget, and resources for data analytics audit projects
+ Create analyses for internal and cross functional departments creating presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
+ Focuses on client service and ensures quality deliverables for audit project
+ Provides expert advice to management to resolve complex issues through innovative solutions
+ Collaborate with the data architects and data engineers to analyze data, identify gaps, and suggest enhancements
+ Provide continuous education training to staff and seniors on data analytics techniques and tools
+ Builds expertise in multiple areas of data analytics and technical accounting topics

**Related Experience/Requirements:**
