This role works closely, as part of the BI team, with IT and Engineering as well as the Finance, Sales, HR, Advertising, and Consumer departments to provide the data needed for improved business intelligence. The ideal candidate is comfortable liaising between technical and non-technical colleagues and is willing to help solve problems proactively.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, optimize, and tune database performance as needed for cost savings.
- Follow and maintain all database standards and processes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
- Manage the data warehouse's information flow through data feeds, reports, and dashboards.
- Manage access to databases and define security standards.
- Work closely with the Finance, Sales, and Consumer departments to provide requested business intelligence.
- Stay ahead of the latest technology updates and trends.
Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of experience with Snowflake
- Inclusive of the UI, Marketplace, and External Connections
- StreamLit App Building
- Experience writing reports using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and other well-known BI Reporting tools
- Experience building and using REST APIs
- Experience with scripting such as Bash, Perl, and Python.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Experience with public cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc)
- Excellent written documentation and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to adapt and be audience-focused, with a curious mindset and a commitment to creating an inclusive work environment

- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MS SQL
- Fivetran Data Platform/ETL Tool
