We're looking for a curious, driven, and technically skilled analyst to join our NE Electric Data & Advanced Analytics team. This is more than just a job-it's a chance to help shape the future of energy in New England. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about data and eager to grow their technical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Accountabilities- Analyze and Interpret Data: Support the team in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to uncover insights that drive smarter decisions.
- Build Tools and Dashboards: Help develop dynamic dashboards and visualizations that empower teams across NE Electric to make data-driven choices.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers, planners, and business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Communicate with Impact: Learn to tell compelling stories with data-whether it's through a well-crafted slide deck or a quick update to a stakeholder.
- Grow with Purpose: Participate in coaching, feedback, and development opportunities that will help you build confidence, clarity, and capability.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Environmental Science, or similar) required.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI
- Effective communication skills and a desire to grow in stakeholder engagement
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for continuous improvement
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving history that meets National Grid's Safe Driver policy required
Salary : $81,000 - $95,000
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
