**What role you will play in our team**
The Oil and Gas Reserves Data Analyst will leverage advanced data science techniques to analyze, model, and optimize hydrocarbon reserves. This role reports to the Unconventional Reserves Team and supports strategic decision-making in exploration, production, and asset management by applying data-driven insights. The focus will be on improving the understanding of key well performance drivers, reserves revisions and other data trends as related to the reserves process. This job is located in Houston, TX
**What you will do**
+ Analyze spatial data to identify performance trends
+ Build and manage data pipelines integrating structured (e.g., well logs, etc.) and unstructured data sources.
+ Support department in developing and maintaining dashboards, mapping applications and tools to strengthen for monitoring reserves and improving the reserves processes
+ Perform statistical analysis, pattern recognition, and predictive modeling to detect hidden trends.
+ Maintain up-to-date and accurate reserves data analysis documentation for reference purposes.
+ Prepare technical data for interpretation, conduct analyses and routine computer processing of the data, and help create final displays of the results often for formal presentations to management

**Skills and Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree required in Data/Computer Science, Mathematics or related field (master's preferred).
+ Upstream Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
+ A minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in a technical role.
+ Experience: 5+ years in oil and gas or data science; expertise in reserves analysis is a plus.

Compensation
The overall salary range for this role is $54,900 - $02,120. For candidates residing in:
- Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is 60,390 - 93,610.
- New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is 65,880 - 102,120.
- All other locations the salary range is 54,900 - 85,100.

They're currently seeking a Business Data Analyst with a strong hybrid background across data engineering, business systems, and analytics. This person will serve as a critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders-supporting digital transformation efforts through clean data pipelines, stakeholder insights, system documentation, and user training.

What will I bedoing?
ü Assist in developing and managing H-GAC's multilayer models, including the activity-based model, four-step travel demand model (TDM), dynamic traffic assignment (DTA) model, and micro-simulation model.
ü Utilize big data and apply machine learning techniques to support the development, calibration, and enhancement of travel demand models.
ü Assist in updating, validating, and calibrating the travel demand model.
ü Provide modeling support for corridor planning studies, sub-area planning studies, and special planning studies.
ü Assist in researching and developing modeling features related to emerging transportation technologies, transformative modes, and shared mobility services.
ü Prepare advanced technical information and effectively communicate findings to internal and external audiences through written reports, presentations, and verbal communication.
Key Qualifications
ü Degree in (urban) planning, transportation engineering or a related field of study.
ü Knowledge of one or more transportation modeling software programs: Bentley (Citilabs) CUBE VOYAGER, Caliper TransCAD, Metropia DynusT, PTV VISUM, VISSIM, VISTRO and Synchro.
ü Knowledge of data analysis and visualization software: GIS or Tableau.
ü Understanding of fundamentals in travel demand modeling including advanced practices

ü Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
ü 3 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties
Preferred Qualifications
