The team currently supports 16+ enterprise teams/business units and over 75+ individual stakeholders, we expect this number to significantly grow as the enterprise relies on digital channels to deliver business goals. In an average month the team is responsible for managing and optimizing ROI of millions of impressions across targeted digital placements to ensure that the Delta delivers the right message to the right customer, at the right time and in the right channel. It is critical to build a strong operating model for technical personalization operations with new tech and tools as we expand our capabilities in 2025 and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the Delta customer, finding and delivering the most relevant experience to them, and an eagerness to scale digital personalization. This position is an individual contributor role. Key Responsibilities For Operations Personalization in the Fly Delta app: Work closely with the team to understand and deliver on strategic priorities within the app. Strong ownership and definition of process for advanced targeting, audience building, testing protocols, campaign visibility and dynamic adjustment of priorities on a weekly basis. Onboard, govern and define how to operate new personalized targeted touchpoints across digital channels.     Objective: Research, plan, and develop land products for Delta Vacations brands. Negotiate contracts and promotions with external partners ensuring market competitiveness and to optimize land contribution and value.

    Essential Functions:
    • Research, plan, develop, negotiate driven rates/terms, and maintain land products to support DLV Vacations product offerings and optimize land contribution.
    • Participate in the overall development of destination market strategies.
    • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of assigned destinations and land products.
    • Develop and sustain strong destination relationships/contacts as needed with local government officials, tourist boards / CVBs, DMCs, local and corporate hotel partners, and local activity providers.
    • Collaborate with the Partnership Marketing team and hotel and destination partners to secure partnership marketing funds.
    • Collaborate with Revenue Management and Distribution team in the development and execution of retail pricing and inventory management strategies, and promotional strategies, in order to generate optimal land contribution and value.
    • Regularly supervise land programs and industry trends, and analyze competitors programs. Implement appropriate actions to ensure program competitiveness.
    • Compile and provide significant performance reporting and trend analysis to a variety of partners in order to effectively negotiate favorable rates and inventory allocations.
    • Maintain product offerings/inventory levels to complement air capacity and market demand.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may include cross-utilization within the department or with other departments.
    High Accountability Functions:
    • Research, strategize and source land products in high-volume destinations for DLV Vacations brands. Expand corporate partner chain relationships and implement strategies that enhance destination profitability. Negotiate contracts and promotions with external vendors ensuring market competitiveness while implementing retail pricing and inventory management strategies that generate optimal land contribution.
    • Develop and maintain appropriate destination relationships/contacts as needed with local government officials, tourist boards / CVBs, DMCs, local and corporate hotel vendors, and local activity providers.
    • Act as a key resource/SME for participation in DLV cross-functional teams.
    • Handle assigned land products to support DLVs product offerings which optimize land contribution.
    • Lead DLVs destination product plan(s) for high volume destinations.
    • Be responsible for the retail pricing strategies for corporate chain partners that cross between multiple destinations and Product Managers.
    • Use relationship building skills to nurture effective internal relationships with all areas of the organization.
    • Participate in the overall development of regional key destination market strategies.
    • Lead the development of secondary destination market strategies.
    • Apply analytical skills to capture and analyze strategic data, clearly summarize thoughts and optimally communicate recommendations to leadership.
    • Research and develop new destinations, analyze and evaluate new and existing trends.
    • Cultivate and maintain a thorough knowledge of all DLV destinations and land products.
    • Lead meetings and events between applicable DLVs partners and vendors.
    • Facilitate DLVs participation in industry trade events and meetings, facilitate registration and scheduling with corporate chain vendors, coordinate internal preparation and post-trip follow-up efforts.
    • Collaborate with Hotel Pricing Implementation Analysts and Inventory Specialists to optimize land contribution through retail pricing and inventory management strategies.
    Other Duties:
    • Research and develop new destinations, analyze and evaluate new and existing trends.
    • Supervise contract compliance against DLVs and Delta legal standards and guidelines.
    • Work with other departments to coordinate product content load processes to ensure accurate and optimal land product presentation in all distribution channels.
    • Create, produce and maintain destination and partner level content in coordination with other departments.
    • Coordinate with Product Operations to ensure timely reporting of manifests and resolution of relocation situations.
    • Monitor in-destination customer experience to ensure partners meet customer service expectations.
    • Research and resolve Product-related issues, including customer inquiries or land vendor concerns.
    • Connect with partners and internal departments to ensure operational procedures are efficient.
    • As applicable, coordinate and participate in meetings and events between DLVs management and suppliers.
    • Make recommendations and collaborate as appropriate to implement projects, which enhance sales, Partnership Marketing, operational efficiency, marketing and company productivity.
    • Generate, analyze and distribute reports pertaining to assigned responsibilities.
