Qualifications & What we are looking for in you …

• Dental Assistant with 5+ years of experience in general dentistry.
• Certified Dental Assistant, preferred but not required.
• Xray certification required & coronal polishing, preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist the Doctors: Support our dentists in all clinical and procedural tasks, including setting up and cleaning rooms before and after appointments.
• Patient Preparation: Greet patients warmly, review their medical histories, and prepare them for their procedures by answering questions and ensuring they are comfortable.
• Instrument Sterilization: Handle and maintain hygiene equipment by following strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Radiography: Take dental radiographs & digital photos.
• Documentation: Keep accurate and detailed records of patient treatments, history, and notes in our practice management system.
• Supplies Management: Monitor clinical supplies and restock as needed.

• Experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with experience in assisting in 4-handed dentistry as a chairside assistant.
• Prior experience with assisting during implant placement & restorations, a plus!
• 5+ years of experience supporting a multi-doctor, high performing practice.
• Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, required.
• Xray certification required & coronal polishing, required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with complex dental procedures, predicting their needs & providing support throughout the appointment.
• Update and maintain client’s dental records including clinical notes, lab orders, and chart preparation.
• Help control overhead by sensible use of time & materials.
• Ability to lift & move a minimum of 35 lbs.
• Experience with digital charting and electronic medical records.
• Educate and inform patients of the treatment doctor has diagnosed, supporting them through their entire treatment plan & answering their questions.
• Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene to help them stay healthy.
• Comply to all OSHA and HIPAA standards including sterilization procedures.
• Take and process impressions, X-rays & digital photos for patients.

Ideally the incoming Dental assistant has their coronal polishing certificate, is an excellent team player who enjoys working with a well-respected team providing the highest level of care! The Dental Assistant will work in the hygiene dept, take x-rays, polish teeth, and help care for our patients.
