Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the VP, Product Design will lead the entire design function at Spring Health, driving a step-function change in design craft, innovation, and impact. This leader will own and evolve the end-to-end Member, Provider, and Customer Experience, ensuring that every interaction—whether digital or service-based—is seamless, intuitive, and high-impact. The VP, Product Design will shape not just UX/UI but embedding design thinking throughout the entire organization. What we expect from you: 8+ years of experience in design leadership roles (SVP, VP, or Chief Design Officer level preferred). Proven ability to scale and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience owning end-to-end consumer and enterprise SaaS experiences. Strong background in product design, UX/UI, and service design for digital-first companies. Experience designing in highly regulated spaces (healthcare is a plus). The target base salary range for this position is $54,400 - 335,000 , and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Red Bull's Digital Products & Services team is seeking a Director of Product Design to lead the global vision, execution, and evolution of design across our digital product portfolio - including our multi-tenant Streaming Platform powering Red Bull TV, ServusTV and Rally TV; the global Wings for Life World Run digital ecosystem; and our Digital Product Studio, which incubates next-generation mobile experiences and emerging technology innovations.

This is a senior leadership role for a hands-on creative visionary who brings a strong design voice to the table and elevates the role of design across the organization. You will build and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of designers and agencies, define and leverage existing design language and systems that power our global digital products, and champion human-centered design as a strategic advantage for Red Bull. Reporting into the VP of Digital Products, you'll collaborate closely with senior leaders across Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, Legal, Owned Media, Marketing, Brand and more-ensuring every product we ship is beautifully crafted, user-centric, and on-brand.

Job Description

DESIGN VISION & LEADERSHIP

Define and drive the global digital product design vision, strategy, and principles across Red Bull's diverse ecosystem of consumer-facing products

Act as a key strategic partner to product and engineering leadership, shaping product direction with creative excellence and user-first thinking

Elevate the role of design within Red Bull's digital teams-creating frameworks, rituals, and language that promote consistency, innovation, and clarity

Lead and inspire a growing team of product designers and agency partners

Foster a high-performance design culture focused on visual craft, usability, innovation, and experimentation

Provide hands-on direction and feedback in all stages of the design lifecycle-from research, wireframes, and flows to high-fidelity UI and prototyping

Represent design leadership in executive-level meetings, helping influence strategic decisions through user insights and exceptional storytelling

OPERATIONS & TALENT DEVELOPMENT

Build and scale the design team, ensuring proper organizational structure, role clarity, and mentorship opportunities

Manage design operations, including project timelines, team workflows, design systems, tooling, and budgets

Ensure alignment between design decisions and Red Bull's brand values, digital strategy, and business objectives

Identify growth areas and career development opportunities for team members across all levels

Oversee vendor and agency relationships, ensuring quality and consistency across external deliverables

Lead design reviews and all-hands presentations to share work and foster collective feedback

Work closely with engineering, product & program management leadership to define efficient agile processes that enable engineering teams to ship high-quality products in fast-paced iterations

Hire, coach, and mentor a team of product designers along their development journey and be an inspirational and motivational leader to them.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in digital product design, with 5-7+ years in a leadership or director-level role

Proven track record leading design for complex, high-impact digital products (streaming, mobile apps, large-scale platforms)

Experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams across mobile, web, and emerging platforms

Deep expertise in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with modern design systems, prototyping tools, and collaboration platforms

Hands-on background in user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decision-making

Strong leadership, organization, project and stakeholder management skills with experience influencing executive leadership

Bachelor's degree in Product Design, HCI, Industrial Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

Exceptional portfolio showcasing polished UI/UX, storytelling, and systems thinking

Passionate about Red Bull's culture, innovation, and ability to connect with global audiences through meaningful, beautiful experiences
