Join Medtronic as a Program Manager in our Core Surgical Innovations (CSI) Released Product Management (RPM) Project Management Office (PMO). A Program Manager is responsible for released product engineering project management:
+ Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects focused on sustaining the CSI portfolio of products and enhancing product reliability.
+ Direct, develop, and coordinate the activities of Program/Project Managers in supporting Core Surgical Innovations efforts.
+ Develop and monitor schedules, plans, tasks, and priorities, ensuring a streamlined workflow.
+ Drive problem-solving sessions, maintaining a sense of urgency and holding team members accountable to commitments.
+ Anticipate and mitigate risks, balancing time, schedule, cost, and quality, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
+ Manage project financials, including forecasting and tracking of accruals and actuals.
+ Cultivate a broad understanding of Medtronic's Core Surgical Innovations portfolio, leveraging this knowledge to drive project success.
MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
+ Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience with 6 years of project/direct management experience or Advanced Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience with 6 years of project/direct management experience
+ 4 years of experience in project management or commercial new product delivery in a regulated industry (e.g. medical, automotive, aerospace, etc.)
+ High degree of competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
+ Proven track record of successfully managing within a matrixed organization
+ Experience working with Program/Project Managers with a history of increasing engagement
NICE TO HAVE:
+ 10+ years of experience in Project Management or commercial new product delivery
+ MBA and PMP / CSM Certification preferred
+ Knowledge in product development, project management, and commercialization in the medical device industry
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills; must possess excellent relationship building skills with direct reports, peers, and senior leaders
+ Must be able to lead cross-functional discussions; driving towards alignment, decisions, resolutions when necessary
+ Ability to manage multiple projects at once while understanding cultural differences between various regions of the world
+ Experience with developing and/or commercializing complex medical devices (e.g. staplers, sutures, clip appliers, etc.)
+ Experience with advanced scheduling and resource management tools like Microsoft Project and Resource First
+ Experience working under regulations of the FDA, notified bodies, and other regulatory agencies for successful commercial launches
+ Product launch experience working with Global teams

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of successful fundraising experience, preferably within Catholic organizations.

About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support our Technology team as a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test based in Shelton, CT or Miami, FL. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing solutions to ensure the quality, performance, accessibility, and reliability of our mobile and web applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to drive a culture of quality, champion Test-Driven Development (TDD), ensure ADA compliance, lead performance testing initiatives and support production validation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute test strategies for mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web, ensuring cross-platform functionality, responsiveness, and performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient automated test frameworks and test suites. Integrate test framework with test management tools like ADO to manage test plan execution results.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and ensure testability and accessibility of features.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test execution and results. Integrate test automation framework with cross platform execution tools like BroswerStack.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation, accessibility, performance, and software quality.
Qualifications (some examples listed below):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Required).
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
- 2+ years of experience mentoring other QA engineers.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, C#,).
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
- Proven experience implementing and working in TDD environments.
- Experience with accessibility testing tools and understanding of ADA/WCAG compliance.
- Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience with production validation practices and tools (e.g., monitoring dashboards, log analysis, synthetic testing).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Good experience with low code or no code automation tools.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
