**Job Duties**

**Education** : Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in related field
**Licensure Preferred** : Certifications in relevant marketing systems, processes and/or tools
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**
+ 3-5 years experience in marketing / operations / analytics / campaign management
+ Marketing Cloud required experience at 2-3 years

**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and own a global content strategy aligned with startup lifecycle and business priorities.
+ Build and manage an integrated editorial calendar across blog, website, social, newsletters, PR, and emerging channels.
+ Translate Microsoft product updates into compelling content for founders, developers, and customers.
+ Produce and oversee premium content: blogs, case studies, thought leadership, newsletters, and video scripts.
+ Leverage AI tools for ideation, personalization, and workflow automation.
+ Define KPIs, track performance, and optimize content based on insights.
+ Drive founder storytelling and industry POVs to position Microsoft for Startups as a category leader.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
+ OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience in tech, startups, or venture capital ecosystems and with program and stakeholder management.
+ Experience SEO, AEO, and content analytics.
+ Experience with distilling complex technical/product information into engaging narratives.
+ Experience with AI-driven content tools and emerging marketing technologies and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
**Other Requirements:**
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
+ Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business
+ OR equivalent experience
+ Experience working with founders, VCs, or startup accelerators.
+ Knowledge of developer ecosystems and technical content is a plus.
+ Exceptional writing and storytelling ability.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $03,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD 137,600 - 222,600 per year.
