The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for supervising distribution personnel to ensure shipments are accurate and on-time, that transactional integrity is maintained, customer timelines are achieved, and documents are accurately maintained. The distribution supervisor is responsible for safety, quality and compliance, delivery, cost performance, key performance indicators, adherence to processes and policies, and maintenance of processing and storage areas.
**This is a full-time role position: Monday-Friday -Days, Onsite**

**The Role**
+ Supervise daily activities of shipping associates and material handlers driving hourly and daily performance to achieve targets and nRFT improvement. Monitors, organizes, and performs all functions associated with distribution of clinical trial supplies and assures compliance to GMPs, SOPs, FDA, DEA, and OSHA rules and regulations
+ Lead/coach/mentor shipping associates and material handlers with their growth and development. Assign/coordinate associates and handlers' daily activities including specific projects and seeing them through to completion; responsible for understanding all duties that their teams perform
+ Perform employee performance evaluations, disciplinary notices, according to company guidelines and performance requirements as necessary and per the union contract if needed
+ Partner with other internal departments to identify operating efficiencies to continuously improve and promote safety, quality, compliance, delivery, cost, and engagement
+ Lead investigations and writing deviations (and other quality system reports in TrackWise), as applicable, as well as, promote the reports to the next level of review in the TrackWise system
+ Conduct audits of all respective distribution areas to assure compliance with cGMPs, GDPs, corporate policies and standards, and local standard operating procedures
+ Revise SOPs, lead process improvement teams and drive Organization & Discipline methodologies as required
+ Asist with customer and/or regulatory audits of the facility as requested. Ensure the department areas are clean and audit/tour ready. The Electric Distribution, Supervisor manages employees involved in maintaining and/or building parts of the Electric Operations distribution grid. Job Responsibilities

  • Travels at least 20% of the time with occasional overnight stays. Ensures maintenance and construction work is completed on time and within budget and quality expectations, while monitoring compliance to standards and specifications
  • Develops and/or executes action plans to address deficiencies in process or employee skill/knowledge and track the progress of those plans.
  • Provides current, direct, complete and actionable positive and corrective feedback to others. Builds constructive and effective relationships using diplomacy and treats direct reports equitably.
  • Completes and maintains all work documentation and reporting. Effectively utilizes resources by monitoring crew productivity.

  • Facilitates and leads weekly team meetings/tailboards
  • Regularly visits field work sites to monitor progress and employee performance. Develops and maintains regional contacts and interacts with local government.
  • Proactively prepares for emergency situations; supports company efforts during emergencies. Supervises staff including bargaining unit employees, to accomplish results through recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, and rewards and recognition.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High-School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction, field maintenance operations, or related electric utility experience
  • Must obtain a California Drivers License by first day of employment

Desired:

  • Previous experience in the electric utility industry; Journeyman Lineman experience preferred
  • Associate or Bachelors Degree in the areas of Engineering, Construction, or Business Administration
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold safety standards and participate in continuous process improvement
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or supervising bargaining unit personnel

**How You'll Make an Impact**
The **Logistics/Distribution Supervisor** will support managing the responsibilities of the Willow Springs Direct Market working closely with drivers, plant management, DM supervisor, warehouse distribution, sales and customer service. The primary responsibility will be supporting the Direct Market team in the afternoons (10AM to ~7PM) and working closely with the first shift direct market distribution supervisor to prepare for the next business day.
_*Pay range for this position $84,000-92,000/year*_
**Responsibilities Include**
+ Supervising and supporting the drivers in the afternoons while on routes and when they return to the plant. Work closely with the second shift material handlers to prepare for the next business day. In addition, make sure the plant is secured at the end of the day.
+ Working with the first shift direct market supervisor to create daily routes for Direct Market customers using the ORTEC OIR distribution software, BizSpeed MobileHub and releasing orders out of SAP. In addition to creating routes, this position will work closely with the drivers, customer service and sales to resolve daily delivery questions
+ Training new drivers and adhering to all CDL/driver requirements and support completing Risk Rader customer location safety evaluations.
+ Driving continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, 5S programs and/or other programs. Employees must also complete safety and quality training as designated by Valvoline Global.
+ Backup the first shift direct market distribution supervisor for all truck PM maintenance, riding along with drivers, weekly driver safety meetings, fill out DM scorecards, truck housekeeping and driver areas, scheduling PTO coverage, drum trailer switches, support visitor and contractor safety orientation/sign-ins.
+ Responsible to follow all Valvoline and regulatory policies, procedures, and laws. Including housekeeping and inspections of their work areas encompassing the powered industrial trucks, and PPE.
**What You'll Need**
+ High School Graduate and Associate Degree minimum requirement.
+ 3 yrs of experience in the distribution or trucking business
+ 2 yrs minimum supervisory experience.
+ Must be capable to use ORTEC routing software, SAP, Outlook, MS Office.
+ DOT and regulatory knowledge.
+ Must be able to sit/stand/kneel for long periods of time, bend/squat for lifting, pull a hose, climb stairs & ladders

Graphic Packaging International is seeking an experienced and hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead Distribution operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of shift performance, including safety, quality, Distribution efficiency, staffing, and equipment maintenance. The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in driving operational excellence by managing daily activities, coordinating with plant leadership, and supporting frontline employees.

+ Provides leadership to Distribution and supports shift teams and serves as a link to plant management.
+ Facilitates team meetings and intervenes as necessary to keep the team's goals and results consistent with company direction.
+ Works with team members to help them reach their full potential.
+ Responsible for Safety, product quality, Distribution efficiency, equipment condition, and housekeeping.
+ The Shift Supervisor has the responsibility, authority, and is accountable to make decisions regarding job assignments, work priorities, and overtime requirements.
+ Facilitates day-to-day activities of the team
+ Responsible for shift staffing
+ Ensures all schedules and releases are met
+ Responsible for performance coaching/counselling
+ Prepares and distributes the daily shift report
+ Ensures that Safety/ housekeeping/ procedures and acceptable work practices are being followed throughout the shift.
+ Accountable for overall shift performance as relates to quality, waste, and Distribution.
+ Notifies area managers, Maintenance Manager, Distribution Manager and Plant Manager of equipment breakdowns which exceed or will exceed two hours in duration.
+ Develops and implements safety procedures and supports the efforts of the HSE Manager in achieving safety goals.
+ Completes all shift accident investigations within a twenty-four-hour period. Ensures that corrective action is taken.
