+ Reviews key sales metrics including sales growth, sales category penetration & safety, and gross profit percentage goal. Focuses on areas for improvement and upcoming projects. Trains and provides coaching of sales associates in effective selling processes and techniques.
+ Leads, engages, and inspires team to ensure they are focused on the best opportunities with the highest overall sales potential. Provides regular feedback for improvement and ensures accountability and focus to drive profitable business results. Spends at least 4 days a week with different Account Managers.
+ Trains and provides coaching of Account Managers in effective selling processes and techniques.

**The Job:**
As a District Sales Manager, you'll be part of our Mac Tools team working as remote/field based employee. You'll get to:
+ Achieve annual operating plan by working with distributors to increase route averages and recruiting new distributors into the territory
+ Conduct FEMs (Field Excellence Meetings) every 60 days (6x a year). This involves lifting more than 10 pounds of product of totes to showcase to customers
+ Conduct effective ride-alongs 3-4 days per week to provide coaching and support to distributors in the territory.
+ This will also include 2 weeks of training during onboarding in Duluth, Ohio.
+ Attract and retain distributors into the Mac Tools business
+ Conduct new franchisee training (2-week ride-along for new Distributors). Setup new start truck, pushing and pulling involved (Product and toolboxes). Revisits as needed to develop/coach as directed by Regional Manager and Regional Business Analyst
+ Conducts Field Excellence Meetings monthly with entire district
+ Participate at Student Tech shows
+ Manage regional credits and adjustments
+ Perform route surveys for all new starts as well as surveys at the request of the Regional Manager
+ Perform other duties as assigned
**The Person:**

+ Prior experience in the mobile tool sales industry
+ Demonstrated success in recruiting new talent into an organization
+ Knowledge of the local automotive repair market

+ Must have a minimum of 5 years of route/field sales experience
+ Must have a minimum of 2 years of management experience directing multiple field/route sales professionals
+ Willingness to travel up to 80% within the specified sales territory and potentially outside of territory.
+ Must be able to lift more than 10 pounds. This includes bending, twisting and pushing
+ Must pass drug test & MVR
