Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct daily drilling operations on the rig, ensuring adherence to the drilling program, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead and mentor the drilling crew, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor drilling progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and operation of drilling equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of drilling techniques, well control principles, and relevant industry standards.
  • Valid IADC or IWCF Well Control certification.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct field personnel.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
