Oversee the Administrative Assistants/Generalists to ensure quality customer service, both in person and on the phone, assistance to management, staff, and guests, and prepping for meetings and events. Ensure compliance with all state and county requirements and company policies and procedures (i.e., SOPs, accreditation standards, HIPAA). Create and maintain positive working relationships with county employees. Interact with other departments and its members to facilitate increased productivity, efficiency, and compliance. Answer routine inquiries, both internal and external, on subjects such as employment verifications, job openings or benefits, related pay issues, and policy questions. Assists employees with disability insurance claim requirements for non-work-related injuries or illnesses, tracking all benefits and employee-paid premiums for the duration of the disability, making sure all physical capability forms and physical agility tests are complete prior to employee returning to work. Oversees the employee light duty program and assists with light duty staffing assignments and schedules. Responsible for tracking employee retention agreements and bonuses paid. Perform other such duties as may be required. Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Human Resources Manager oversees HR functions and directs HRGs and activities across multiple plant/off-site locations in a defined region. While they are responsible for the ongoing effectiveness and productivity of HR administrative functions (e.g., compliance, benefits administration, reporting), their focus is associate engagement (Be Remarkable), talent acquisition/management, performance management, and associate relations. This role supports both associates and management, ensuring effective deployment and support of ImageFIRST values and work environment initiatives as well as HR programs, practices, and operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prioritize Safety: Demonstrate care for associates and their safety on and off the job.
  2. Engage Associates: Coach/advise RVPs, GMs, and HRGs in how to effectively own the ImageFIRST Be Remarkable initiative. Drive the development of a coaching culture and leaders who lead The ImageFIRST Way.
  3. Recruit, On-Board and Orient Associates: Ensure HRGs are effectively deploying and utilizing recruiting processes and tools. Ensure an engaging and complete onboarding and orientation experience for all levels of associates.
  4. Achieve Leadership Effectiveness in Coaching for Performance and Development (CPD): Deploy CPD training and subsequently coach RVP/GM/Managers/HRGs to integrate CPD perspectives/skills into their actions and behaviors. HRMs are expected to own the development of the leaders in their region. This initiative will be a true barometer of an HRMs effectiveness.
  5. Operational Excellence of HR Processes, Compliance & Policy: Ensure observance of local HRGs and their leadership to HR processes, procedures, policies, investigations, and certification/safety training requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience overseeing Human Resources
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially in Excel) and HRIS software
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist in our Operations/Manufacturing team plays a crucial role in managing and supporting the HR needs of approximately 400 union associates. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws, supporting employee relations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
+ Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances in a prompt and confidential manner.
+ Collaborate with union representatives to resolve issues and maintain positive labor relations.
+ Assist in the development, modification, and deployment of Human Resources policies.
+ Ensure strict adherence to federal and state employment laws, union contracts, and company policies.
+ Keep policies and procedures updated and communicate changes to employees.
+ Assist in the staffing process, including job postings and interactions with temporary staffing agencies for placements.
+ Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires and facilitate new hire orientation.
+ Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and monitor employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
+ Compile, analyze, and report on HR data to identify trends and recommend solutions for improving HR processes and practices.
+ Collaborate with management to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
+ Provide administrative and clerical support to HRBP/HR Manager.
+ Act as a liaison between English-speaking and Spanish-speaking employees, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
Essential Skills
+ Knowledge of federal and state employment laws

+ Proficiency in human resources and administrative support
+ Experience with HR systems and benefits administration
+ Bilingual in Spanish

Work Environment
The role is based in an office within a manufacturing environment with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. However, candidates must be willing and able to flex their schedule as necessary, such as working from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, to provide support for off-shift associates.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06/hr.
