Qualifications

Education:
  • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in business, management, human resources or related field is strongly preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of two or more years' recruiting experience with demonstrated successes in a corporate, RPO or agency setting. Experience using recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media tools.

The successful applicant will travel to oil and gas production facilities and conduct a variety of inspections and data collection.

What you'll do

    • Conduct and document Audio, Visual, Olfactory (AVO) inspections at oil & gas production facilities in southeast New Mexico and west Texas.
    • Conduct and document Method 22 visual observations of flares and combustors.
    • Utilize an Optical Gas Imaging infrared camera to inspect outdoor piping and equipment associated with oil and gas production facilities, midstream pipeline facilities, and gas plants.
    • Conduct GPS field data collection and assist with other environmental projects as needed.
    • Approximately 95% to 100% of your time will be spent in the field conducting field inspections and various data collection regarding site equipment and or conditions.
    • Will communicate findings with Sphere 3 managers and client representatives both verbally and electronically in databases and written reports/forms
Required Qualifications
    • Must have a clean driving record.
    • The successful candidate must complete and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
    • Ability to work in the field in a variety of site conditions.
    • Must be able to travel, work outside in extreme heat or cold weather conditions, and safely conduct the physical aspects of outdoor facility inspections.
    • Must be able to comprehend, follow, and apply a variety of safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
    • Must have computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.
    • Experience/knowledge of upstream oil & gas processes and equipment.
Preferred Experience
    • Experience/certification with Optical Gas Imaging, Method 22, and AVO inspections is a plus, but training will be provided.
    • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
