**Primary Purpose**
Oversee compliance requirements for work streams and initiatives regarding the planning, coordination, and implementation of major company strategic initiative (e.g., compliance with new law/regulation). Provide energy policy advice and counsel on issues affecting the Utility, including regulatory matters at multiple state and national regulatory agencies (ICC, FERC, and PJM), in multiple subject matter areas, including rate making, renewables, distributed generation, and competitive markets as well as evaluate, research and report on any issues that may provide opportunities or risks to the current business model or regulatory regime. Act as liaison with functional program areas to identify gaps and potential risks within work streams and work to mitigate them. As necessary, provide analysis on regulatory, policy and market issues, both proposed and adopted, and/or impacts resulting from decisions, policies, or rule-makings rendered by regulatory entities with jurisdiction over, or impact upon, Company activities. Seek opportunities for the company and its customers. The position may involve managing outside consultants for subject matter expertise and support. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Preparation of written material, including white-papers, talking points, and presentations. Manage internal and external groups of professionals to support initiatives. (30%)
+ Advise and participate in development and execution of ComEd regulatory strategies; participate in development and execution of ComEd strategies relating to transmission, renewables, distributed generation, and competitive markets. (30%)
+ Communicate and translate corporate policy positions, key initiatives and implications of regulatory, legislative and public policy to corporate and business unit management. Advise regarding "interface" between FERC/PJM and ICC relating to transmission and market policies. (10%)
+ Support outreach campaigns as assigned to secure external support for Exelon positions on key matters with significant strategic or financial value for Exelon. (10%)
+ Prepare position papers and analyses concerning regulatory and policy issues, and participate in and prepare summaries of, as needed, meetings of trade associations and advocacy groups. (10%)
+ Work with outside counsel, internal counsel, and consultants in connection with the preparation of submissions to regulatory agencies. (10%)
**Job Scope**
+ Position reports to the Director - Planning, Coordination and Implementation
+ Able to think strategically and work with Business Units to achieve Company objectives and manage risks
+ The position has significant interrelationships both internally and externally. Key internal relationships include regulatory, finance, accounting, treasury, and legal, as well as other operational and support groups within ComEd and Exelon Business Services Company. Internal relationships include the executive leadership of ComEd, and to some degree Exelon, BG&E, PECO, and PHI.In addition, this position is called upon to provide expert guidance and/or advise Company management with regards to complex regulatory issues as necessary. The position requires that it be a trusted and reliable source of information for the regulatory agencies and other parties involved in the regulatory processes that impact the Company. This position requires the ability to effectively interface with regulators, customers, internal and external expert consultants, and others, demonstrating cooperation, tact, diplomacy, and excellent judgment to further the Company's credibility, image and strategic objectives. Work is complex in nature, and involves both technical and creative skills to achieve attainment of the Company's objectives within the context of the federal and state regulatory environment.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 10 years professional experience in the electric and/or gas industry political/governmental affairs, corporate communications, rates, accounting, financial, or strategic planning areas.
+ Either a BA or BS degree in business, engineering, political science, public policy or related field;
+ Possess a broad breadth of knowledge about the electric and gas energy industry, including experience with policy issues.
+ Must possess highly effective personal skills to interface with other internal business units, external legal counsel, and state and federal commission staff.
+ Excellent financial, analytical, and technical skills are required to direct and oversee activities related to the evaluation of energy and regulatory policies, positions, and outcomes.
+ Must display a high degree of professional integrity, complex problem solving, and creative thinking abilities.
+ Have demonstrated high-level competencies in 1) accountability, 2) collaboration, 3) continuous learning, and 4) high performance in ambiguous situations.
+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Law. Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a technical area relevant to the utility business is preferred.
+ At least 10 years of professional experience and widely recognized distinction for his/her specialty practice.
+ Possess a broad understanding of Exelon strategy and business practices.
+ A sophisticated understanding of and experience in electric and gas utility operations, bulk power market operation and the regulatory & legislative process.

**Job Description:**
This job is responsible for analyzing and interpreting a client's credit worthiness, evaluating credit risks, and writing credit approval memos for annual renewals and new lending opportunities. Key responsibilities include analyzing qualitative and quantitative data such as client's financials, projections, industry data, covenant compliance, and collateral appraisals to ensure compliance with the bank's risk appetite. **Job Description:**
This job is responsible for analyzing and interpreting a client's credit worthiness, evaluating credit risks, and writing credit approval memos for annual renewals and new lending opportunities. Key responsibilities include analyzing qualitative and quantitative data such as client's financials, projections, industry data, covenant compliance, and collateral appraisals to ensure compliance with the bank's risk appetite. Job expectations include completing regular monitoring and underwriting tasks and supporting key internal stakeholders to achieve successful execution of new transactions.

The Global Renewable Energy Credit Team covers transactions for Corporate Lending, Tax Equity and Project Finance through involvement in the origination and underwriting of transactions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Analyzes client's financial performance by comparing it to past performance, projections, and industry standards
+ Reviews financial statements, assesses the client's compliance with financial covenants, and renews risk ratings, while recommending changes as warranted
+ Assists in the underwriting, credit risk analysis, negotiation, and closing of new transactions or existing transactions, while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
+ Evaluates transaction and relationship risk-adjusted profitability to facilitate the allocation of capital
+ Builds projection models for the client (as needed) based on historical performance, industry forecasts, and other due diligence findings
+ Perform financial, business industry, and transaction analyses, conduct research, and prepare supporting documentation for transaction credit approval
+ Performs intensive qualitative and quantitative due diligence ontransaction structures, stress scenarios, financial models, engineer reports, and terms and conditions
+ Participate in the underwriting and documentation of project finance and other credit facilities designed to meet both client and investor needs as well as balance the bank's internal risk/return requirements
+ Provide input into key projects/initiatives across the bank
+ Review the credit profile of key transaction counterparties (e.g. borrowers, servicers, sponsors and off-takers)
+ Engage with various partners including GCIB Enterprise Credit Officers for recourse obligors, Enterprise Credit Risk, and Global Markets Risk
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 1+ years' experience in corporate or commercial credit at a financial institution
+ 1+ years' experience in project finance/tax equity/structured credit with a focus in energy, power, or infrastructure

**Responsibilities**
+ Design of electrical systems including solar, battery storage, electric vehicle charging and building electrical
+ Perform work on a wide variety of projects, such as photometrics and lighting, power distribution, EV charging, and more
+ Participate on project teams in an active production role
+ Participate in project meetings internally and externally with clients
+ Preparation of project specifications
