**Job Description:**
The Sr. Engineer will join the Facility Group to manage, plan, direct, and coordinate facility project activities to ensure projects are accomplished within the approved scope, budget, and schedule. The Sr. Engineer will oversee facility projects of varying sizes and complexity, ranging from greenfield/new construction to major renovations and minor upgrades of existing facilities. This position requires the ability to manage projects from the conceptual engineering phase through construction completion. Interaction with all Grifols' Departments, Vendors, and Contractors is critical for project success. The Sr. Engineer independently performs most assignments and provides direction for the project team to achieve facility project objectives and ensure resources are utilized efficiently. The position requires an understanding of project requirements to ensure projects are in compliance with cGMP design, applicable codes, and environmental laws, rules, and regulations.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Manage facility project design and construction by coordinating, reviewing, and administering the work of Architects, Engineers, Consultants, and Contractors.
+ Create cost management solutions for facility projects. Manage vendors, engineers, and consultants to ensure facility projects are completed on budget and per schedules.
+ Responsible for project management, project planning, budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and project cost analyses.
+ Review and evaluate bid proposals/estimates with procurement.
+ Manage facility projects and project planning efforts, including both new installations and upgrades to existing facilities.
+ Ensure projects are in compliance with local/state/federal codes and regulations, including OSHA, FDA, Fire, Building/Safety, etc.
+ Track and evaluate critical data to recommend continuous process improvement.
+ Maintain communication between department management and all cross-functional teams.

Objective

The Project Engineer supports the engineering team on various aspects such as supporting design reviews, technical evaluation of Project Change Directives, SOW creation, technical bid evaluation, and taking care of specific engineering queries. The Project Engineer is the owner and responsible for the Management of Change and Hazard Study processes. Responsibilities

  • Support the design process, ensuring that all design requirements are met and that the design is safe, practical, meeting schedule requirements, and cost effective.

Here's how a(n) Project Engineer for our Orlando office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Performs and applies quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress, reporting, and change management.

  • Maintains contract with more complex subcontracted scopes and subcontract administration, including defining work scope, answering inquiries, and monitoring progress.

  • Reviews and understands broader contract obligations as per the responsible project and work scopes. Assists site manager in project start-up activities.

  • Participates in reviews of subcontractors' submittals for compliance with scope, design documentation, and coordination with other disciplines against the design documentation prior to forwarding to the design team for their review.

  • Assists with site inspection by the design team for installation deficiencies, and witnesses and signs off on systems commissioning.

  • Ability to identify potential risks on project scopes and/or the project.

  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • 4-6 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.

  • Detailed knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, project health, safety, and environment (HSE), quality, building materials, and required standards as per subject area.

  • Ability to apply basic engineering/problem-solving principles to construction challenges.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proven flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize own work, and direct-report tasks.

  • Able to create and lead schedules a comprehensive scale.

  • Ability to formulate subcontracts and administer subcontracts and contract documents.

  • Proven understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and internal operational systems with a strong skills for embracing new technology.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing team on a dynamic program. In this role, the DevOps Engineer will work hands-on with cloud infrastructure, containerized platforms, and automation frameworks to enable scalable, secure, and efficient delivery of mission-critical systems.

This position requires expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, automation tools and scripting, with the opportunity to support cutting-edge Big Data platforms. You will help architect, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for both cloud and on-premise systems, while championing reliability, repeatability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure solutions in AWS, with a focus on Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes across development and production environments
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Monitor and support Linux-based systems for availability and performance

  • SME-level candidates: 14+ years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda
  • Proficient in Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in scripting/programming abilities in Python, Bash, or Go
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)

  • Must be able to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire
