**Boost Mobile is seeking a Field Engineer II to execute advanced network maintenance and troubleshooting for our 5G wireless infrastructure. This role builds upon the foundational experience of a Field Engineer I and requires greater technical expertise and autonomy in addressing network restoration, performance issues, and site integrations. The Field Engineer II is responsible for responding to critical outages, performing technical diagnostics, and conducting preventative and corrective maintenance activities in the field. This role also supports collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and high-performing network operations.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform complex troubleshooting of base stations, radios, fiber equipment, and transport systems using technical tools (e.g., spectrum analyzers, OTDRs)
+ Support new site integration and DU emulation, resolving automated blockers and interpreting MOPs, as-builts, and technical drawings
+ Analyze alarms and site data to detect network degradation, respond to outages within SLAs, and drive MTTR improvements
+ Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety protocols for rooftops, electrical systems, and construction sites
+ Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for diagnostics, accurate documentation, and timely resolution of site issues
+ Mentor junior engineers and communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional partners to escalate and resolve technical problems
**Skills, Experience and Requirements**
**Education and Experience:**
+ Associate degree in a technical field preferred; industry certifications a plus (e.g., OSHA-10, fiber, RF)
+ 3-5 years of applicable experience in wireless network operations or a related technical field
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Proficiency in RF testing, transport validation, antenna and fiber troubleshooting, and system optimization
+ Ability to read and interpret MOPs, construction drawings, and as-built documentation
+ Strong working knowledge of test tools such as DU emulators, spectrum analyzers, and ONA-800s
+ Advanced understanding of wireless concepts including PIM, VSWR, MIMO, RET, and fiber systems
+ Intermediate computer proficiency, including experience using general applications; Google Suite is a plus
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and/or modify designs related to Aero-engine components by analyzing product specifications, performance requirements, and existing manufacturing capabilities
  • Execute mechanical design projects of gas turbine components on Structures/Rotating parts (Frames, Shaft, Disk, Blisk, seals etc.) and/or Airfoils (Blade, Vanes, Nozzles etc.)
  • Evaluate concepts of new designs/improvements, manufacturing methods, materials or processes and complete required documentation by applying engineering principles and Industry standards, and generating reports, procedures or change proposals
  • Capture design & system requirements from the customer, and incorporate into the component design
  • Support technical substantiation, contribute & present in technical and program reviews
  • Develop components and modules keeping cost, performance, life, and system requirements in mind

Required Skills:

We are seeking a Security Engineer who possesses expertise in cloud environments. You will be part of a team that protects system boundaries, keeps computer systems and network services hardened against attacks, and secures sensitive data. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with internal business teams on projects to assess for security risk and help deliver secure solutions via threat modeling, code review, penetration testing, and enforcing secure development lifecycle
  • Assist with the implementation and execution of the application security program with the business and engineering teams
  • Provide guidance on security architecture related to cloud computing products and services
  • Test web applications for common vulnerabilities including input validation, broken access controls, session management, cross-site scripting, SQL injection and web server configuration issues
  • Utilize security information and event management for real-time analysis of security alerts generated by our cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Actively participate in Incident Management, Change Management, Security Policy Management and Security Incident Response
  • Perform secure code reviews and implement security in all the phases of SDLC.
  • Perform SAST, DAST, Internal Penetration testing on the Applications and the Infrastructure.
  • Lead SOC2 and PCI Compliance programs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of end-to-end audit prep/compliance ownership in one or more of the following: SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, etc.
  • Must have knowledge/experience with security best practices within AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route53) and other providers
  • Skills in the following areas: Security Compliance, Vulnerability Scanning, Managing PEN testing
  • Demonstrated experience with systems auditing and monitoring to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
  • Understanding of key security concepts such as cryptography, authentication, authorization, security protocols, or security vulnerabilities as applied to web application security and Cloud-based services
  • Deep technical understanding of common security vulnerabilities and risks, as well as countermeasures and compensating controls
  • Experience with IDS/IPS, firewalls, DDoS Prevention, and WAFs
