The Reliability Engineer will play a key role in driving reliability enhancements to optimize plant performance and minimize unplanned downtime. This position emphasizes mechanical integrity, the development and execution of predictive and preventive maintenance programs, and conducting root cause failure analyses (RCFA). The ideal candidate will be committed to safety, operational excellence, and ongoing process improvement. Design and execute reliability programs and asset management strategies aimed at maximizing equipment availability, ensuring safe and reliable operations, and reducing maintenance costs. This includes developing and refining preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and incorporating compliance requirements into reliability plans. Perform Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) and recommend effective corrective and preventive measures. Apply predictive maintenance technologies—such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, and oil analysis—to enhance equipment performance and manage maintenance expenses. Develop detailed repair scopes for site equipment and support capital projects and the Mechanical Integrity (MI) Coordinator by providing reliability-centered recommendations on equipment design and selection. Partner with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to drive asset performance improvements and ensure alignment with reliability goals. #LI-RM1

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Design Engineer with a strong background in CNC programming and aerospace applications . This role is responsible for the design, qualification, and certification of aerospace, commercial, and military components made from both metallic and non-metallic materials. The ideal candidate will ensure performance compliance, manufacturability, and successful transition of designs into production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design efforts from concept through production, ensuring designs meet regulatory, customer, and manufacturability requirements.
- Create and manage detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks).
- Develop efficient and robust product designs with a focus on cost, weight, and performance.
- Generate and oversee qualification test plans and certification reports.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure smooth production handoff and address manufacturability.
- Utilize CNC programming knowledge to support prototype development and production transition.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving during design, manufacturing, and in-service phases.
- Interface with cross-functional teams, including sales and customers, to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in aerospace.
- Proven experience with CNC programming and machining processes .
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with GD&T, reverse engineering, and various manufacturing techniques.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with TIG welding and electro-mechanical systems is a plus.
