We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. As an Electrical / Instrumentation engineer at the Greenville site you will support a 24/7 operation by ensuring the site electrical infrastructure and process instrumentation is maintained in a safe and reliable state. You will also propose upgrades of equipment to the latest technologies and lead site capital projects. You will interact regularly with our maintenance team, various contractors and our other internal groups to complete a variety of projects.
**What you'll be doing:**
+ **Ensuring operational safety and reliability** through your expertise in electrical infrastructure, overseeing the performance and maintenance of systems such as switchgear, distribution panels, and lighting panels, while upholding arc flash compliance.

+ **Supporting project execution** with your knowledge of planning and documentation, contributing to bid packages, construction records, and specification sheets for new electrical and instrumentation installations.
+ **Advancing automation initiatives** by applying your understanding of DCS, PLCs, and VFDs to reduce process variability and enhance trend analysis across site operations.

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity at our West Milton facility. This role involves designing and building robotic cells and automation systems, requiring knowledge in mechanical design within automation and fabrication environments.
Responsibilities
+ Design and layout robotic cells and automation systems using SolidWorks (3D) and AutoCAD (2D).
+ Collaborate with project managers during quoting and development phases.
+ Design mechanical fixtures, end-of-arm tooling, lighting, guarding, and camera systems.
+ Support robotic installations, including upcoming projects at various facilities.
+ Work closely with customers and vendors, including integration with Fanuc robots.
+ Participate in hands-on assembly and testing of automation cells, with 30% field work and 70% design work.
+ Travel occasionally to customer sites, approximately 5% of the time.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, specifically in automation environments.
+ Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D) and AutoCAD (2D) for mechanical design.
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; Associate degree acceptable with 10+ years of hands-on experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in fabrication and machining environments is highly preferred.
+ General awareness of CNC machines.
Work Environment
The work environment is a small, close-knit team with currently 2 engineers at the West Milton site. The position reports directly to the Engineering Manager and offers flexible work hours, such as 6 AM-3 PM or 8 AM-5 PM, within a 40-hour work week. There is an emphasis on teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability, with exposure to a variety of projects and technologies
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $58.00/hr.

This team helps implements capital projects and provides engineering support for the Consumable and Machine divisions of the Cleveland Operations. Mechanical engineers are responsible for the mechanical aspects of the projects including facilities preparation, equipment designs and equipment installations. - Work on engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety, lower operational and maintenance costs, and improve ergonomics.
- Engineer solutions that comply with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives to improve the environmental & employee health & safety.
- Interface with all engineering, manufacturing and maintenance departments along with R&D, QA, and Supply Management to ensure accuracy of project design target details.
- Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance departments.
- Work with and often manage outside engineering and construction personnel.
- Ensure all safety, health, environmental, and compliance aspects for the project meet the appropriate regulations.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by managers within the Plant Engineering department.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3+ years professional experience: Level II Engineer
- Minimum of 5+ years professional experience: Level III Engineer li>Must have good judgment, be self-motivated and be safety conscious.
- Strong desire to take ownership and drive results.
- Ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities.
- Ability to perform hands on work as required and work effectively on the shop floor with employees and processes.
- Ability to handle small to medium sized projects and day-to-day shop support with supervision.
- Experience with Solid Edge CAD modelling software is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EPA and OSHA standards is preferred.
