**Boost Mobile is seeking a Field Engineer II to execute advanced network maintenance and troubleshooting for our 5G wireless infrastructure. This role builds upon the foundational experience of a Field Engineer I and requires greater technical expertise and autonomy in addressing network restoration, performance issues, and site integrations. The Field Engineer II is responsible for responding to critical outages, performing technical diagnostics, and conducting preventative and corrective maintenance activities in the field. This role also supports collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and high-performing network operations.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform complex troubleshooting of base stations, radios, fiber equipment, and transport systems using technical tools (e.g., spectrum analyzers, OTDRs)
+ Support new site integration and DU emulation, resolving automated blockers and interpreting MOPs, as-builts, and technical drawings
+ Analyze alarms and site data to detect network degradation, respond to outages within SLAs, and drive MTTR improvements
+ Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety protocols for rooftops, electrical systems, and construction sites
+ Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for diagnostics, accurate documentation, and timely resolution of site issues
+ Mentor junior engineers and communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional partners to escalate and resolve technical problems
**Skills, Experience and Requirements**
**Education and Experience:**
+ Associate degree in a technical field preferred; industry certifications a plus (e.g., OSHA-10, fiber, RF)
+ 3-5 years of applicable experience in wireless network operations or a related technical field
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Proficiency in RF testing, transport validation, antenna and fiber troubleshooting, and system optimization
+ Ability to read and interpret MOPs, construction drawings, and as-built documentation
+ Strong working knowledge of test tools such as DU emulators, spectrum analyzers, and ONA-800s
+ Advanced understanding of wireless concepts including PIM, VSWR, MIMO, RET, and fiber systems
+ Intermediate computer proficiency, including experience using general applications; Google Suite is a plus
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
+ Ability to maintain driving eligibility under company motor vehicle policies.
+ Must be able to work nonstandard hours, including nights and weekends, to support business needs

Our Plant Engineering team is responsible for implementing capital projects and providing engineering support for the Consumable and Machine divisions of Cleveland Operations. What You Will Do
As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate in a team environment to design and support industrial electrical systems, which includes various types of equipment new and old. Specific responsibilities include:
- Engineer solutions to improve equipment reliability, safety, ergonomics, and compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 450001, and other EHS initiatives. li>Provide technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments, reducing downtime and improving system performance.
- Develop, design, and update PLC, VFD, and HMI programs using various control automation platforms, including Rockwell, Siemens, and Beijer.
- Update and maintain National Instruments LabVIEW code for testing applications and equipment.
- Interface with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, IT, MES, and Production teams to support facility projects.
- Apply NEC knowledge for planning industrial equipment installations and work with electricians to update documentation.
- Supply project leaders with capital cost estimates and timelines, and review capital equipment quotations.
- Lead projects or project steps, solve complex problems, and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. li>Manage outside engineering and construction personnel, ensuring all safety, health, environmental, and compliance aspects meet regulations.
- Integrate equipment into data collection systems and establish network topologies.
- Support network backup, device patching management, and control system asset inventory.
- Compile data from connected devices for organizational use and develop standards for control systems hardware and software.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of professional experience.

- Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, and 79, and other technical codes.
