**Summary:**
Meta is seeking a Connectivity Engineer to join the Design Engineering and Construction (DEC) team. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our innovative services are delivered, and our rapidly scaling infrastructure operates. The team lights up Meta 's global data centers, delivering the physical infrastructure that connects the world to the videos, feeds, and other information stored on Meta 's server banks.The DEC Connectivity Engineer will provide site level support to ensure DEC telecommunication projects are being executed on schedule, within budget and at the level of quality specified. Connectivity Engineer will be the key point of contact for managing the full project life-cycle including project kick-off all the way through production turnover into operations. DEC Connectivity Engineer is highly collaborative with cross-functional partners at the Data Center Headquarters, our on-site contractor, and other data centers globally.
**Required Skills:**
Connectivity Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Control - Create, maintain, and report on site project and program scope, schedules and milestones. Work closely with site project management team throughout the project lifecycle from the creation of project and program plans through project close out
2. Learnings - Continually review ongoing projects for efficiencies in schedule, budget, and opportunities to enable cross-functional partners to be successful. Document data points to assist with field coordination of projects. Support development of project management best practices and initiatives, coordinating SOPs/SIPs with vendors, and participating in global and regional standards. Coordinate lessons learned with program connectivity engineers
3. Forecasting - Support project controls team with forecasting and budget efforts as required. Share current project status with upstream and downstream partners, ensuring crisp and complete handoffs between teams
4. Technical Reviews - Establish milestones for equipment purchase and track and report against these milestones Assist with the selection and review of a contractor to support the structured cabling work within a data center
5. Metrics - Report progress and risks on site projects and other initiatives to key stakeholders
6. Workflow - Work with installation partners to establish and track milestones. Conduct pre-project planning, project handoffs, and ensure design delivery and verification. Identify and respond to project risks and high-priority issues rapidly and effectively through effective action and appropriate escalation. Track and manage project change order requests
7. Vendor Field Management - Responsible for all connectivity activities within construction, projects on site including tracking and reporting actual progress related to schedule expectations. Set and communicate clear expectations together with the immediate site team, build key relationships with our installation partners and implement best practices, safe working environment and drive to a quality standard of 'right the first time'
8. Quality Assurance - Perform physical inspections to ensure vendor work meets DEC quality standards throughout the lifecycle of the data center. Validate physical installs, test reports, build accuracy, material and local code compliance including constructability reviews on multiple design phases
9. Technical Field Lead - Technical lead for industry and Meta standards, responsible to lead product evaluation, design, and installation methods in the field including scope clarification, design and installation details as the owner of the Request for Information process
10. Technical Coordination - Develop solutions to in-field scope-gap or clash issues. Partner with DEC design and engineering teams to digitally support design reviews, BOM reviews, and as-built drawing validations
11. Communications & Cross functional team engagement - Liaise with construction partners to ensure deliverables are met during new builds and retrofits. Coordinate with logistics partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure a smooth end to end flow of materials as needed. Work closely with the relevant teams to proactively communicate progress and project risks and initiatives to key stakeholders

The Critical Facility Engineer will be a part of the Facility Operations team responsible for operating and maintaining critical systems in our data centers.

**Job Description Summary**

The AI&T (Assembly Integration & Test) Electrical Test Engineer will lead and mentor test technicians in all aspects of testing the electronics of Intergalactic's aerospace systems and components. Ensuring a high standard of test execution against system requirements, delivering and fielding quality hardware and systems., and Additionally aiding the programs on all strategic, contractual, and tactical milestones from program inception to the delivery of contracted intellectual and physical product to the customer.
The Electrical / Electronic Test Engineer fosters overall system quality by developing and being accountable for both component and system test plans, procedures, and test result analysis. In cooperation with the Program and AI&T Management team, the Electrical / Electronic Test Engineer will lead program test campaigns. This role is responsible for the technical development and execution of tests as the primary testing point of contact on assigned programs.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Read and accurately interpret customer requirements and design test plans, acceptance testing procedures, and qualification testing procedures to adequately prove system performance, margins of safety, durability, quality, etc.
+ Lead, support and administer electronic tests and testing requirements on high value assets/hardware. (May Include vibe, shock, TVAC, and all other MIL-Std and NASA standard testing)
+ Verification and validation testing.
+ HALT testing
+ Take initiative to clarify uncertainties, and in cooperation with engineering and other technical staff, resolve and/or correct issues as appropriate.
+ Able to operate machines, hand tools, power tools, and refrigerant equipment in an aerospace AS9100 environment.
+ Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated electronics tools such as power supplies, osciliscopes electronic loads and function generators.
+ Support engineering with diagnosis and troubleshooting, of component level to full system level builds.
+ Support engineering with various component and flight vehicle check outs, including acceptance tests.
+ Support payload handling and integration operations that include handling of spacecraft assemblies.
+ Operate material/hardware handling equipment including - but not limited to - hoists, lifts, tugs, and other ground support equipment as required.
+ Perform assembly and system checkouts on ground support equipment related to all program testing, including all spacecraft operations.
+ Support root cause analysis and implement corrective action.
+ Consistently apply written, verbal, listening, and visual media skills as appropriate to ensure accurate communication.
+ Proactively identify issues and problems and make recommendations.
+ Consistently take ownership of and responsibility for personal and team performance to promote continuous improvement.
+ Review and acknowledge internal document control, Coord Memos, SOP's.
+ Available to travel to testing sites, customer facilities, and testing events.
+ Coordinate and collaborate with crew members to accomplish set tasks and perform other duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
+ 3 years of experience in Electrical Test Engineering with basic coding/scripting experience (preferably in MATLAB or Python).
+ Minimum 1 year of basic CAD experience (preferably in Altium or electrical design SW).
+ Willingness to travel up to 25%
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferably in Electrical Engineering with designing, analyzing, testing, integrating, qualifying, and fielding products experience.
+ Knowledge and experience with steady state and dynamic system modeling and architecting high level controls.
+ Basic CAD experience (preferably in Altium).
+ Working knowledge of key aerospace technical disciplines including electrical systems, system controls, embedded controls, development testing and analysis, qualification analysis and testing.
+ Understanding of aerospace requirements management methodologies and processes - traceability, verification, and validation.
+ Functional understanding of major aircraft systems: environmental control systems, powerplant, electrical, hydraulics, controls, avionics, power generation, and structures.
