We are seeking for an Engineering Technician with the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
+ Hands-on diagnosing, repairing and building of test and manufacturing equipment. Including Temperature Chambers and Temperature Controllers.
+ Operate and repair of vibration and shock systems, electrical testers, laser welders, and other specialized automatic equipment.
+ Assist production in the testing of coaxial switches and other RF devices and compiling test reports when needed.
+ Works on assignments that are not routine in nature with ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice.
+ Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills and share expertise with group while following Company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
+ Participates in failure analysis. Exhibit sound judgment and communicate clearly to Supervisor and co-workers when identifying/resolving problems, developing alternate solutions, asking questions for clarification/providing feedback.
+ Be able to prioritize/plan work demonstrating time efficiency, accuracy, and thoroughness to ensure quality products and processes.
+ Recommends changes in test methods/assembly process or equipment to Engineering.
+ Conducts operator training on the proper use of equipment and performs periodic maintenance.
+ Experience programming with LabView, python, or similar test and automation software is a plus.
Requirements:
+ A.A. or B.S. degree in engineering (Electronic preferred) or equivalent technician experience such as with the Military or Technical School.
+ Must have knowledge of electronic circuit analysis and repair - have prior experience using a spectrum analyzer to test RF devices.
+ Must have good hand eye coordination, good manual dexterity.
+ Must have knowledge/experience with a multimeter, power supply, electronic test software/equipment.
+ Must have basic computer experience, and knowledge of MSWord and MS Excel.
+ Must be able to use schematics and blueprints to assemble test systems.
+ Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out written/oral/diagram form instructions and be able to deal with problems with concrete variables in standardized situations.
+ Will occasionally be in contact with moving mechanical equipment and will continuously be working near moving mechanical parts.

**Summary**
The Engineering Technician will be a part of the Electrical Engineering team, supporting multiple departments during the develop of new designs as well as product sustainment activities. This position requires a self-motivated individual with proficient electronics, analytical, and communications skills. Expertise in electronic component soldering, circuit card rework, schematic interpretation, and general circuit troubleshooting is required.

+ Perform circuit card inspections to identify parts and assembly errors

The Ads Data team is under Ad Platforms and its mission is to transform advertising and Disney's Ad platform with data and AI across TV and streaming video. We build solutions to measure and optimize every aspect of the advertising life cycle. At our core is a strong cross-domain team to deliver E2E solutions covering tech areas ranging from machine learning, big data, microservices to data visualization. Our team is seeking a software engineering manager who will lead an engineering team within the Ads Data team. This engineering group focuses on industry-leading ad decisioning solutions, big data infrastructure, operational data, audience solution, inventory forecasting and full funnel measurements as a foundation layer for Disney’s addressable Ad Platforms. The right person for this role should be experienced with big data technologies, high performance services, organization development, and crafting implementation for either service/data products or full stack solutions.
