They will communicate about the project site and project requirements with the PM, other engineering technicians, and the client. They will work on different projects. They will monitor fill placements and soil placements. They will also transport material samples for further testing and analysis, and complete appropriate laboratory data entry.   • Ensure adherence to **functional safety standards (SIL, IEC 61511)** and hazardous area classifications (ATEX, NEC).
  • Lead **HAZOP, LOPA, and risk assessment** initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation for audits (ISO, OSHA, PSM).
  • Liaise with suppliers for technical support and procurement.
  • Manage contracts, budgets, and timelines for instrumentation projects.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies (IIoT, smart sensors, wireless instrumentation).
  • Drive digitization and Industry 4.0 initiatives for predictive analytics.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering.
  • 10+ years in instrumentation engineering.

We are looking for a talented Hydro Power Service Engineering Manager to manage a variety of strategic initiatives within our Hydro Division. These initiatives will generate quality growth and critical cost-effective solutions across our global services business. In this role you will also oversee the development of, as well as developing processes to meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within your area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall Hydro business strategy.

This is a complex leadership role requiring flexibility and drive to adapt quickly in response to internal and external customer needs. The ideal candidate is driven by leading the team to deliver world-class projects to our customers.

  • Manage the engineering team providing engineering support for hydro generators/motors as well as providing support at an individual level as needed
  • Review customer specifications, summarize material and engineering/drafting costs for all new proposals and change orders
  • Create/review all technical clarifications and exceptions submittal to vendors/customers
  • Provide technical content for all New Proposals and Change Orders. Additionally, provide feedback on commercial items (milestone invoicing, strategy, etc)
  • Maintain automated programs and provide training to users as needed:
    • Quality Assurance Report (QAR) programs
    • Parts Definition Programs
    • ITO Program (Engineering Proposal Response, Material and Cost Definition, Sourcing Contest)
  • Manage the ITO/OTR process for all hydro generator opportunities (RFQs/proposals and project execution)
  • Support design of rewinds, uprates and upgrades for hydro generators/motors, all OEM designs, both during the initial quotation phase as well as the execution phase of the projects
  • Provide design leadership to a team of design engineers
  • Conduct design reviews as appropriate for risk mitigation
  • Develop design standards and practices for use by the Hydro services business
  • Drive material cost-out, supplier excellence, CIPS (Continuous Improvement) objectives and related On-site and Service center support
  • Establish goals and program direction to achieve reliability, cost control, and Unmatched Customer Experience
  • Provide direction and leadership with interfacing organizations in the initation and implementation of design changes or modifications and repairs to meet requirements and needs

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Engineering degree preferred from an accredited University or College
  • Considerable experience with the design, manufacture, and service of Hydro generators/motors, all OEM designs
  • Strong knowledge of Hydro generator construction, including stator core and windings, rotor poles and mechanical components
  • Strong knowledge of Hydro Services Work Instruction documents and ability to support craft labor and Field Engineers during site execution
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in generator/motor design
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is desired
  • Project Management experience on projects exceeding $1M is desired
  • Experienced in directing craft labor on customer sites is designed

**Job Description**
The purpose of this position is to provide overall engineering execution leadership on small sized projects or for a specific area on a medium / large project. This position has the responsibility and accountability for the performance of the engineering team and the successful execution of all engineering work on the project. This position also leads and guides the development and implementation of the execution strategy and oversees development and enforcement of engineering budget, schedule, and quality. This role also has the responsibility to promote Fluor's competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence.
- Has overall/area responsibility and accountability for the performance of the engineering team, and the engineering execution and delivery as per the project baseline. This position performs Engineering Management responsibilities on a small low risk EPFC/CM project (as defined by the Business Line) or services project or on an assigned segment of a larger project, including coordination of design activities.
- Support the interfaces between the engineering disciplines, by understanding the discipline work processes and looking ahead to identify critical busts and / or activities that need to be completed to support the execution strategy.
- Support the positive project culture in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Review overall project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects.
- Lead/Support the development of the Project Execution Strategy for all engineering functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Basic Job Requirements**
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements. OR - Accredited two (2) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fourteen (14) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
- Job related skills required - Strong leadership skills, customer focus, business acumen, influence, strategic agility, decision making, personal accountability, ownership and follow through, a team player, mentor, and coach.
- Ability to translate strategy ("what") into actionable steps / executions plans ("how"), ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
- Held positions as Project Engineering Lead.
- Professional registration and active participation in technical society.

**Job Description Summary**
The Senior Engineering Budget Leader will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and facilitating standard work for the execution of the Wind Engineering Financial Operating Plan.
This role involves developing standard operating procedures, operating rhythms, dashboards and KPIs for effective budget management, performance monitoring and risk management. This leader will collaborate with operations partners, finance, program managers and engineering teams to set and achieve annual operating plans across the engineering portfolio. They will be responsible for a team of contractor PO requisitioners and will provide coaching and mentoring to lead operations specialist to achieve the collective goals of the team.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Lead standard work for execution of the Financial Operating Plan of One Wind Engineering portfolio; including OPEX/SW&L, CAPEX and Overhead budgets.
+ Support annual business planning process (Strategy to Operating Plan) by establishing and leading standard work to forecast and plan funding needs aligned with program and portfolio objectives.
+ Lead creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, tools and resources to support accurate forecasting and consistent execution of portfolio and program level budgets.
+ Establish operating rhythms, dashboards and KPIs to monitor budget performance and manage risks effectively.
+ Partner with operations colleagues, finance, program managers and engineering teams to achieve quarterly and annual engineering operating budgets.
+ Improve standard work & efficiency of Engineering Purchase Orders (POs) and contractor management processes.
+ Support decision making by providing data analytics, historical trends, prioritization and tradeoff recommendations across the engineering portfolio.
+ Oversee engineering operations portfolios; ex. sustaining programs, labs, computing, IP, contractor
+ Oversee transactional purchasing process including facilitating PO approval operating rhythm.
+ Train and mentor lead operations specialists, program managers, engineering team on budget management and purchasing process standard operating procedures.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum of 5 years experience in Program Management, Engineering or Engineering Operations
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Experience in financial planning and budget management in an engineering or technology development environment.
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and communication skills.
+ Proficient in data analytics platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Tableau, Excel).
+ Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders
+ Ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership levels.
+ Experience with engineering product development process; preferably in Wind Industry
**The base pay range for this position is** **111,200.00 - 148,300.00 USD Annual The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for driving and managing transformation initiatives related to middle and back-office activities, including identifying opportunities, defining strategies, and ensuring successful execution through GenAI technologies
  • Work closely with various teams across the organization, including IT, operations, and business units including aligning efforts, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that transformation goals are met

Qualifications:
