Purpose of Job :
Advise/Guide distributor operations on proper operation procedures, growth of their market, and overall profitability of their distributorship. Business Consultants also monitor and address any compliance issues.
- To conduct consultations with distributors that result in Operational Improvement Plans (OIP) that improves Distributorship performance in people management, internal operations, sales, and route operations.
- To monitor and achieve compliance with distributors in their performance in servicing National Account customers.
- To coach distributors in the use of system tools and programs designed to create maximum efficiency and results for the distributorships and the Interstate System with a focus on continuous improvement.
- To coach distributors on adoption and implementation of best practices
- Interacts with Distributors and their personnel, and home office colleagues across the organization
- Responsible to complete the targeted amount of distributor consultations and resulting Operational Improvement Plans. To monitor and encourage completion of individual action items contained in the OIPs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business or related discipline
- Team player who has demonstrated the ability to collaborate and effectively network in a professional fast paced organization
- Experience working with independent business owners/operators
- Thorough understanding and background knowledge of wholesale operations with 3-5 years of proven success in multi-unit operations
