Are you mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and looking for a hands-on career in agriculture? A growing agronomy services provider in Northeast is hiring for a full-time Custom Applicator to help deliver critical services to local growers.
Location: Northeastern U.S. - PA/NY Border Region
Custom Applicator duties:
- Operate commercial sprayers and nurse trucks to apply crop inputs safely and accurately
- Follow proper rates, application techniques, and all product label guidelines
- Maintain detailed application logs and perform pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Assist with loading/unloading of crop inputs, inventory tracking, and equipment upkeep
- Help with basic repairs and maintenance of equipment and structures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and reliability
- Ability to obtain (or currently hold) pesticide/fertilizer applicator licenses (training provided)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT medical requirements
- Willingness to work long hours as needed, especially during the growing season
- Paid training and license support
- Career path in crop consulting or agribusiness operations
- Work outdoors and directly with rural producers
- Tight-knit, service-focused team environment
