This role partners with Film Production Finance Execs, Film Music operations, HQ FP&A and Controllership teams to manage essential FP&A deliverables and reporting requirements, with a primary focus on Production and Music.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and analyze cash forecasting models, tracking by-title production spend and receipts across 40+ active and upcoming film projects
  • Develop and retain subject matter expertise in key areas of production finance that impact forecasting, including domestic and international tax incentive programs, production-specific nuances, and contractual factors

Our client, a prominent production company, is seeking a visionary Lead Production Designer to spearhead the visual creation of upcoming film and television projects in Fort Worth, Texas, US . This critical role involves conceptualizing and realizing the overall look and feel of productions, from initial script breakdown to final set dressing. You will be responsible for developing a cohesive and compelling visual aesthetic that supports storytelling and enhances audience immersion. This includes designing sets, locations, props, and overall visual environments for multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities include leading and managing a team of art directors, set designers, prop masters, and construction crews, ensuring artistic integrity and adherence to budget and schedule constraints. You will collaborate closely with directors, cinematographers, costume designers, and producers to translate creative visions into tangible sets and environments. Budget management, resource allocation, and vendor negotiation for materials and services are integral parts of the role. The Lead Production Designer will oversee the creation of detailed blueprints, mood boards, and concept art to communicate design ideas effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing extensive experience in production design for film and television, with a proven ability to manage large-scale projects and lead creative teams. Exceptional artistic talent, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of historical periods, architectural styles, and visual storytelling techniques are essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required to effectively guide the art department and collaborate with diverse production stakeholders. Familiarity with drafting software and 3D modeling programs is a plus.
