The CFO will assume lead / primary responsibility for these relationships on behalf of the company. Generating, maintaining, and automating financial and operations reporting, ensuring all metrics are properly defined and met in-line with the company's strategic plan. Leading the monthly close process and preparation of GAAP financial statements, inclusive of contributions to ad hoc reporting and analysis for department heads, M&A execution, and M&A integration. Driving key business insights and informing the company's Executive Committee on the financial implications of the company's short- and long-term strategic planning and operational initiatives, inclusive of leading business case and scenario analysis and preparing detailed, sophisticated financial models and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor's degree with a focus in finance, accounting, economics, or similar relevant field. CPA required. Background at a "Big 4" accounting firm and real estate industry experience preferred. MBA or similar advanced degree preferred. 5 years' minimum experience in financial leadership or equivalent in a finance and accounting position of leadership in the real estate industry. 10+ years of experience spanning Big 4 public accounting or similar and progressive accounting and finance experience An eagerness to dive into details and execution with a strong strategic sensibility. A proven track record of operating entrepreneurially in growth-oriented environments, leveraging their deep experience of corporate finance concepts and accounting principles to guide meaningful operational and financial results. Exceptional, disciplined leadership and team management skills, including ability to drive, motivate, and mentor team individuals to top performance. Job Summary and QualificationsThe?Chief Financial Officer?directs the financial and other departmental activities in accordance with defined hospital policies and objectives. The principal duties and responsibilities of the CFO of SEnergy are detailed as follows:
Financial Strategy and Leadership
- Develop Financial Strategy: Formulate and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company's goals for consulting engineering, energy consulting, and EPC construction services, including revenue growth, cost optimization, and market expansion.

Financial Operations and Compliance
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting in accordance with GAAP or other relevant standards, tailored to engineering and construction industry requirements.
- Audit Oversight: Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry-specific standards (e.g., ASC 606 for revenue recognition on long-term contracts).
- Cost Control: Implement cost control measures including WIP schedules for consulting engagements and EPC projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses for a combination of contract revenue methodologies including fixed fee, T&E, and subscription.
- Contract Financial Management: Review and approve financial terms of client contracts, ensuring favorable payment terms, milestone-based invoicing, and risk mitigation for fixed-price or cost-plus projects. Manage contract workflows and execution including legal review.
- Tax Strategy: Develop and execute tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities, leveraging incentives for engineering innovation, construction, and sustainability initiatives.
Executive Oversight - Information Technology (IT) and Innovation
- Strategic IT Alignment: Oversee the IT Director to ensure IT infrastructure supports financial systems, project management, and client deliverables in consulting and EPC operations.
- Cybersecurity: Ensure IT implements robust cybersecurity measures to protect financial data, project plans, and intellectual property, mitigating risks in a digital environment.
- System Integration: Oversee IT's integration of financial systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software) with project management and BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools used in EPC projects.
- Performance Metrics: Set KPIs for IT, such as system uptime, project data accessibility, and cybersecurity incident response time, to support financial and operational goals.
Innovation:

- Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs for Facilities Management, such as cost per square foot, downtime due to maintenance, and compliance audit results.
Executive Oversight - Human Resources (HR)
- Payroll: Oversee the Payroll functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Benefits Administration: Complete oversight of all benefits administration including design and oversight of benefit programs in conjunction with the COO and CEO.
- Employee Incentives/Programs: Oversee employee programs and make recommendations for enhancement for employee engagement.

- Performance Reviews: Oversight of the administration of annual performance reviews.

- Coach, train and develop team, including providing conflict resolution, for entire divisional team to meet the specific Client outcomes required.

Job Summary and QualificationsThe?Chief Financial Officer?directs the financial and other departmental activities in accordance with defined hospital policies and objectives.
