Value Creation: The right candidate will be a solid business partner and active participant of the GP Cellulose leadership group, reporting through the finance organization but working directly with the Cellulose business president and commercial team. This position has accountability for financial decision support of the Cellulose business in the form of P&L stewardship, insightful reporting analysis, short and long-term business and strategic planning, economic analysis of investments, and evaluation of business growth opportunities. Location: This position is located at the newly renovated GP HQ in downtown Atlanta, GA. We have a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote workdays.

Team: This role will report to the Director of Strategy for our Cellulose business. Our GP Financial Planning & Analysis teams and individuals provide support to 125+ operating locations across the US, as well as at our corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA.

  • Continually drive the financial reporting and communication process to deliver insights of business performance and drive opportunity discussions with business leadership

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Progressive career experience in a financial analysis, market analysis or related role(s)
  • Understanding of key accounting and financial concepts, economic principles, variance analysis, marginal analysis, point-of-view development and key business drivers
  • Collaboration mindset that seeks to build working relationships and bridge gaps between partners.
  • Experience communicating and presenting financial concepts to all audience levels in person and via audio and video formats; you are comfortable being seen and heard.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint skills (financial modeling, charts/graphs, pivot tables and reporting, data manipulation/analysis, presenting analysis in PPT)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working in a manufacturing company and understanding of a manufacturing business

**About the program**
The Finance Strategy MBA Leadership Development Program consists of a summer associate internship program and a full-time associate program within the Finance Division. The National Accounts, Senior Director Financial Strategy is responsible for setting, executing on, and communicating our financial strategy at the case level. This position will focus on ensuring the delivery of a clear, compelling, and accurately evaluated financial proposal. The salary range for this role is $150,200 to $88,500 annually based on full-time employment.   • Manages and forecasts annual operating expense budget, conducting variance analysis across different line items, invoices, and any other cost components to ensure alignment with strategic financial targets.

  • Forecasts ongoing operating and capital spend using in-house financial systems and tools, ensuring accuracy across reporting cycles and supporting strategic financial planning.
  • Assists with vendor management, providing supporting data to ensure contract terms align with business needs, financial targets, and strategic priorities.
  • Tracks and analyzes developer capacity, providing leadership with insights into resource utilization and productivity trends.

Annual Planning Cycle:

  • Supports annual planning by helping to author and present capital investment business cases (discounted cash flow analyses, IRR, payback) to the enterprise capital committee and other internal stakeholders.
  • Works with leadership of the COO, Asset Servicing, and IT organizations to create annual financial plan.

Project Management & Process Improvement:
