ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE
Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store
- Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement
- Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
As a General Merchandise Expert, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact. Follow body language and verbal clues to tailor your approach
- Engage with guests in a genuine way, which include asking questions to better understand their specific needs
- Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
- Thank the guest in a genuine way and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target
- Be knowledgeable of GM areas to ensure sales floor is zoned, in stock and accurately signed and priced for guests
- Acknowledge guests as you complete workload with minimal guest disruption; partner with leadership to prioritize daily workload based on business and guest needs
- Ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately for GM categories and be knowledgeable of products in the ad
- Execute inbound, replenishment, backroom and signing processes for GM areas
- Execute processes including pricing, presentation sets, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader for all areas
- Understand how operational procedures, like planogram (POG) ties, product capacities and salesfloor quantities impact shortage, profitability, in store replenishment and inventory accuracy
- Operate power equipment only if certified
- Follow processes accurately with attention to detail, monitor own progress
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; identify and correct hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, and digital fulfillment processes and maintain compliance culture while executing those duties, such as federal, state, and local adult beverage laws
- All other duties based on business needs

Responsibilities
Production Quality Systems
- Assist in maintaining and improving compliance to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA 6.3 standards
- Support creation and updates to PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and layered process audits
- Monitor and assist with scrap reduction activities and related quality projects
- Contribute to MRB process and support resolution of nonconforming material
- Help track and analyze supplier performance metrics and trends
- Assist in managing supplier corrective actions and supporting DMR process
- Implement receiving inspection protocols and contribute to cost-of-poor-quality reduction efforts
- Participate in internal audits and provide support for customer or certification audits
- Participate in Gemba walks, plant meetings, and cross-functional improvement teams
- Support document control, QMS training, and standardized metrics reporting
- Provide assistance to quality technicians and serve as a resource in process improvements
- Support efforts related to certification readiness and customer-specific requirements
- Assist with PPAPs, FAIs, and capability studies for new and existing products
- Ensure process documentation aligns with customer and audit expectations
- Analyze quality data using SPC tools and report KPIs regularly
- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventative actions
- Utilize tools such as Minitab and Excel to support decision-making and issue tracking
Education, Certifications, & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required
- ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CSSBB) preferred but not required
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role, preferably in automotive or transportation manufacturing
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and/or VDA 6.3 compliance and auditing
- Experience supporting quality systems within a high-volume production environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel preferred;
- ERP/MRP system experience helpful
- Proficiency in Ignition and or Python desired
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and MSA
- Comfortable reviewing drawings, CAD prints, and inspection techniques
- Experience with SPC software (Minitab, InfinityQS, etc.) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrates GRIT through curiosity, accountability, and a drive for quality improvement

We have several types of Quality Control roles available at our Brown Summit Plant.
As a QC Laboratory Analyst, you could work in a manufacturing laboratory environment that stays in sync with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP). The work will require collection, labeling, analysis, and results recording related to raw materials, intermediate products, finished goods, packaging materials and other samples. Tracking, trend analysis, and other Quality Control (QC) related responsibilities will be performed as directed by laboratory systems.
We also have roles for a QC Analyst require writing control documents like Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs), deliver training, perform system health assessments, on the floor coaching, products disposition, facilitate or participate on quality system failures investigations. Maintain cGMP principles and Good Documentation practices.

Meaningful work on Day 1
We do various types of work including performing raw material, finished goods, intermediate, and development sample analysis according to standard analytical procedures. We perform routine instrument maintenance and calibration as needed during analytical work. We conduct limited instrument troubleshooting and problem diagnosis. We use discernment based on knowledge and experience as to the accuracy and reliability of analytical results. You will observe and identify problems with results and report to your supervisor. Job Qualifications
Education:
+ Have a 2-year degree or more in a Science Field.
+ Commensurate experience of 5 years in a QC lab or GMP manufacturing operations will be considered.

**Position Overview**
The Director of Quality Control/Chief Inspector is responsible for providing guidance with and in compliance with all FAA rules and regulations applicable to HAECO granted under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The Director of Quality Control/Chief Inspector is responsible to the Vice President of Regulatory Compliance for the overall operation of the Quality Control department which includes the following areas: Production Control (GSO,LCQ only), Aircraft Records, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Technical Library. In the absence of the Director of Quality Control/Chief Inspector, the Vice President of Regulatory Compliance assumes the responsibility and delegates authority to qualified personnel as dictated by Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 145, 43, and (if applicable) the air carrier's manuals to release aircraft for service after repair inspections. The Director of Quality Control/Chief Inspector will have the final authority in the release to service airframes, engines, appliances, and the component parts thereof.
+ Directing planning and laying out the details of daily operations for the Quality Control Department including inspection standards, methods, and procedures used by the repair station ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations manufacture's recommendations, and customer required policies and procedures.
+ Coordinate functions within the various departments through managers to achieve efficient processing and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
+ Ascertaining that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work before it is released to the owner/operator and that the proper inspection records, reports, and forms used by this repair station are properly executed.
+ Ensuring that no defective or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component or unit released by the repair station.
+ Assuring the proper execution of FAA Form 337 and the maintenance release pertinent to all items released to service by the repair station.
+ Assuring proper tagging and identification of all repaired/removed parts and ensuring procedures are followed on all repaired/removed parts.
+ Ensuring the final acceptance of all incoming material including new parts, supplies, and the airworthiness of articles on which work has been performed outside the station by contract.
+ Maintaining the Repair Station Manual (RSM) and Quality Control Manual (QCM) in accurate revised status.
+ Maintaining a roster of Supervisory and Authorized Inspection Personnel, making all changes to the roster within five (5) working days of termination, reassignment, change in duties or scope of assignment, or addition of personnel.
+ Maintaining a summary of employment for all personnel listed on the roster.
+ Maintaining up-to-date files of Delegated RII Authority from air carriers.
+ Assuring proper training is afforded to all Inspection personnel and assigning only qualified personnel to proper duties.
+ Coordinate functions within the various other departments through the managers to achieve the efficient processing of work and follows all regulatory requirements.
+ Assist, supervise and direct all personnel assigned to the Quality Control Department.
+ Ascertain all inspections are properly performed on all completed work before release to the owner operator and proper inspection records, reports, and forms used by this repair station are properly executed.
+ Coordinating directly with the Project Manager to ensure proper understanding of the scope of work/maintenance requirements and developing a liaison with the customer representative to preclude any misinterpretation of those requirements.
+ Issuing and controlling Inspection stamps.
+ Being authorized on behalf of the repair station.
+ Identify and evaluate quality problems and initiate corrective actions which effectively provide for their solution.
+ Collect and maintain a file on repair orders and inspection forms so the specific file pertaining to an assembly or unit can be located within a reasonable amount of time.
+ Maintain access to pertinent FAA specifications and Airworthiness Directives.
+ Obtain and maintain required technical data on all units overhauled or repaired by the repair station within the scope of the work/maintenance requirements.
+ Function as a back-up to the Supervisor Technical Library for responsibility of the Technical Data Control Program.
+ Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the HAECO Safety Manual ex. Confined Space, lock out-tag out (LOTO), etc.
+ Ensure accountability to conduct themselves within all guidelines of company, FAA, and customer policies, work rules, and regulations (ex. Repair Station Manual (RSM), Quality Control Manual (QCM), Airworthiness Agreements), etc.
+ Schedule inspection workforce to ensure adequate inspection duties are assigned to each project.
+ Manage operations in the most effective manner, eliminating waste and improving productivity.
+ Ensure aircraft and surrounding areas are in a safe condition for the work being performed.
+ Coordinate with other repair station departments, as needed, to ensure a continuous and smooth workflow.
+ Provide quality oversight and direct interface with project management to ensure adequate QC support coverage.
+ Maintain constant awareness of aircraft induction schedules to ensure adequate Quality Support coverage during primary inspections.
+ Collect all shift performance data in the areas of quality, compliance, cost, and schedule.
+ Provide conflict resolution between inspection and other departments.
+ Assure all Quality Control personnel are treated equally and fairly in accordance with HAECO Human Resources policies and procedures.
+ Coordinate and/or investigate and develop a root cause analysis based on corrective actions for internal and external audit findings identified in the Quality Control Department.
+ Correct time keeping errors for assigned personnel as required.
+ Implement and monitor strategic company and department initiatives as required and directed.
+ Attend customer, company work coordination, and status meetings as required.
+ Audit and maintain the HAECO repair station operating specifications to reflect the business commitment as established by HAECO.
+ Assure proper tagging and identification of all repaired/removed parts and ensure procedures as followed on all repaired/removed parts.
+ Assure daily administration and reporting for HAECO's discrepancy reporting and Accident/Incident Investigation programs.
+ Investigate, validate, and develop a root cause analysis based on corrective actions for all "late finds" identified on assigned shift.
+ Assuring all aircraft work document errors for assigned inspectors are corrected in a timely manner.
+ Evaluate potential Quality Control department candidates by reviewing work history, training records, and/or practical testing.
+ Serve as back-up to the Inspection Manager or Inspector Supervisor for control and disposition of life limited scrap parts, overall responsibility for this remains with the Director of Maintenance Operations.
+ Responsible for making final decisions regarding airworthiness on behalf of the repair station and those decisions represent the position of the repair station.
+ Fulfill the duties of the Inspection Supervisor (MCN only).
+ Assist with employee development while assisting with job performance (using Coaching, Counseling, and Guidance).
