Now hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a Manufacturing & Fabrication company in Cantonment, FL.Job Description: Perform inspections on all aspects of instrumentation and electrical control systems including:Commercial / industrial electrical control and utility systems Instrumentation installation PLC, Motor Control, and DCS wiring installations Analyzer installation and sample systems tubing/piping Enclosures and buildings fabrication: Metal fabrication and construction Welding Painting Use of test equipment and participation in customer performance testing. Leak testing with various gases and/or other means to verify leak integrity in industrial analyzer systems. Responsibilities: Independently perform in-process & final inspections for the following: Metal fabrication and welding Electrical (NEC, UL, local codes, customer standards, etc.) Control panels (electrical & instrumentation) Analyzer systems Power terminal torque inspections Mechanical inspections (torque, square, level, etc.) Generating reports for internal and external (customer) use including the following: discrepancy, corrective action, nonconformance.Participating in executing the UL labeling programVerifying proper document control procedures including project fabrications packages and revision levels on drawings and specificationsMonitoring the condition of QA department tools and equipment Overseeing receiving inspections for all Customer Furnished Material (CFM) and special-order parts and materialParticipate and monitor employee safety programInspecting packaging and shipping of products to customers Requirements: At least 5 years of field experience Experience and knowledge in welding technology, fabrication, electrical control panels, and instrumentation systems is preferred but training can be provided by CCS Must be familiar with blueprints for mechanical, instrumentation and electrical systems and have knowledge of electrical installation requirements and procedures, quality standards for I/E installations, and be comfortable with the interpretation of customer supplied drawings and specifications Must be comfortable with the use of computers, iPads, and test equipment, (i.e. multimeters, gauges, measuring devices, etc.), be proficient in Microsoft Office products and be able to learn Procore (project management software) Must be comfortable with understanding and executing test procedures, performing pressure testing, powering up electrical and instrumentation systems and powering up and verifying HVAC and ventilation systems. Training is available. Must have good knowledge of proper shipping and packaging requirements. We truly believe that our company is a rewarding career destination.POSITION DESCRIPTION:We are an ISO-9001 Certified OEM manufacturer and we are looking for a knowledgeable Quality Control Inspector. The selected individual will be part of a growing, fast paced global manufacturer and will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Control Inspector will perform daily inspection of ALL incoming materials, in-process materials, and final assembly materials and then complete all necessary reports.COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:- Must be able to read basic electrical drawings/or assembly drawings.- Must be able to use a variety of measurement equipment such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and micrometers (in both Metric and Standard units of measure).- Must have previous ISO-9001 or comparable QMS experience.- Must have better than average computer skills. - Previous experience w/ wire, cable, wire harnesses, elec. assembly/testing is preferred but NOT required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform incoming inspection on specific products identified by management as critical. - Perform daily in-process inspection. - Perform basic lab tests on random samples of incoming materials for lab testing as required by management.- Perform daily finished goods inspection- Perform equipment calibrations as required.- Complete all documentation as it relates to the daily inspection process or lab test.- Assist in the processing of Returned Goods for the field and issue appropriate reports.- Other duties as deemed appropriate by management.EXPERIENCE:- MINIMUM of 1 year experience with reading/interpreting basic electrical assembly drawings.- MINIMUM of 1 year experience working with computers AND proficient with Microsoft Office programs- At least 1-Year of Quality Control experience is preferred but NOT required.EDUCATION:High school Diploma (or equivalent) is required.PAY: $15/hr$18/hr. Responsibilities:
