Job Description

Manages purchasing/planning activities and inventory processes through approved vendors while maintaining high quality and low costs in a current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) environment. Backs up Master Scheduler / Planner as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partners with Operations and Program Management Teams to plan and procure materials needed to support all Operations, Process Development through GMP Manufacturing.
  • Manage raw materials inventory levels and updates changes to raw material inventory specifications as needed.
  • Uses QAD (Cloud ERP software), Excel spreadsheets and other analytical tools to plan, manage, track inventory levels and inventory flows throughout the organization ensuring product/materials availability and quality
  • Manages team of buyers and expediter, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of materials to support site
  • Primary Supply Chain contact with client teams to coordinate logistics and materials status as required.
  • Manages vendor and supplier relations for Pricing, purchase order deliveries, invoicing, complaints, non-conforming material and Service Agreements.
  • Manages the vendor assessment program, files complaints and leads investigations for incoming, non-conforming raw materials
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Oversees unresolved Physical Inventory issues and helps reconcile counts
  • Oversees Purchase Order process ensuring consistent use of procedures
  • Processes Requisitions in QAD system
  • Updates changes to raw material inventory specifications as needed
  • Assist in creating processes and SOP as required to establish workflow in the department.
Working Conditions

This position required to work in a office setting. The role requires walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds independently.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-7 years related experience in a Pharmaceutical or Biotech manufacturing environment preferred
  • Minimum 2 years people or project management experience.
  • Bachelor's in related field required or equivalent experience
  • Exhibits strong judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload
  • Strong ability to anticipate and plan for needs of production and other departments
  • Strong attention to detail and applies consistent, effective follow-up skills on multiple projects
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to work with all levels of employees and to effectively manage vendor relations

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for receiving, keying, and promptly distributing all supplies within the facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining all Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock as well as all other stocking locations. The Supply Chain Technician is also responsible for conducting physical inventories of all POU areas according to the defined schedule.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
As the Director of Supply Chain Operations, you are responsible for the daily operations of all supply chain functions conducted in the hospital facility. You serve as the liaison between the Consolidated Service Center and the facility. Your functions include inventory management, vendor relationship management, and managing supply expense. You are directly responsible for supply chain operations in the OR where applicable. You will integrate the department's services with the hospital's primary functions, develop/implement policies and procedures that guide or support services, assess and improve department performance, and ensure orientation and continuing education of departmental staff.
**What you will do in this role:**
+ Lead and manage all facility Supply Chain operations activities.
+ Manage the profit and loss of the facility Supply Chain operations.

The Facilities Buyer Sr., - Supply Chain is responsible for working with the Basins Facilities Engineering Team and overseeing the procurement of equipment and material used in production operations. The role requires an understanding of the production processes, equipment specifications, and vendor management, along with a focus on cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Procurement: Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of production equipment, materials, and related items to meet operational requirements and production needs.
  • Vendor Selection & Negotiation: Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the best value for the company while ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery, reliability, and ongoing support for equipment and service needs.
  • Cost Management: Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines while identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimization.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to understand equipment needs, troubleshoot problems, and ensure alignment with overall production goals.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of production equipment and related purchasing strategies.

Education & Experience:

  • 8+ years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM).
  • Experience with capital equipment purchasing and strategic sourcing.

Travel & Additional Requirements :

  • Location: Work is performed at a CIVI location Monday through Thursday with the option of working remotely on Fridays.
  • Schedule: traditional 40-hour workweek or alternative schedule of 9-hour workdays Monday through Thursday and 4-hour workdays on Friday, as business needs allow and with manager approval.
  • Travel may be required to other Civitas offices and field locations.

  • The role will be responsible for implementing and managing supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.

  • The role will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, implementation and tracking of medium to large scale projects.

  • Work with key stakeholders in the planning and execution of long-range strategic supply chain initiatives.
    • Planning and execution of distribution network strategies, including store realignments, location analysis, and port strategy.
    • Oversee all aspects of a distribution center opening including strategic planning, resource allocation, vendor management, and performance tracking to ensure the building is operational on time and within budget.
    • Execution of strategic and tactical transportation optimization initiatives including, load optimization, mode shifts, and route optimization.
    • Implementation of warehouse optimization strategies including layout optimization, systems implementation, automation (MHE), slotting optimization, and cross-docking.
  • Coordination and collaboration with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to ensure project management practices align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, operations, IT, and finance, to ensure project alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify potential project risks, assess their impact, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Maintains communications on a regular and timely basis, ensuring that all project participants are informed of project status, problems, and required actions.
  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions.
  • Utilize advanced supply chain software and technology tools for project management, forecasting, and data analysis to improve decision-making (e.g. MPP).
Skills & Qualifications :
Education :
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experiences:
