Waynesboro Family Medical Associates is currently seeking a full or part-time Board Certified Family Medicine physician to join our practice in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. This role offers a consistent patient base with outstanding physician support and collaboration and flexible scheduling in a physician led, patient focused environment. We are an independent, privately owned office that has been established here in Waynesboro for over 40 years, consisting of two physicians and three nurse practitioners.

Summary

Position Compensation Range: $104,062.40 - $138,819.20 Annual
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program, Master's degree in related field within 5 years of hire.
Experience: 3 years of progressively more responsible experience as a registered nurse in a patient care environment required.
Licensure: License to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. Valid Virginia Driver's license required for managers with responsibility operations in multiple locations. Must have applicable specialty certification at hire or within 3 years.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

Job Description
The Department of Family Medicine values each individual's unique perspective. This is reflected in our department's activities and our diverse patient population. We maintain specific expertise related to the care of refugees and immigrants, global health, gender medicine, sports medicine, and obesity medicine. We have long-standing clinical and educational programs in collaborative care integrating behavioral health and pharmacy services into patient care. Our practices place great emphasis on team-based care and evidence informed decision making.
Qualified candidates must have an MD or DO and be board-certified or board-eligible by either the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians by the start date. Preference will be given to candidates who practice obstetrics, have experience with care of hospitalized patients, those with procedural or POCUS experience and have residency teaching experience or have completed a fellowship in family medicine.
