GBMC Health Partners is looking for a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join an established practice, in northern Baltimore County, Maryland. Enjoy working with supportive colleagues and in office resources to provide patients advanced primary care.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited medical program.
Licensures/Certifications:
Licensed as a physician in the State of Maryland. Complete required CME credits for continuous licensure.
Board Certified by the appropriate board consistent with the physician's specialty.

Experience:
2-5 years preferred
Skills:
* A high level of analytical ability required for assessing patients and implementing appropriate interventions.
* Substantial interpersonal skills required to effectively interact with staff, physicians, patients, and family members.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assumes responsibility for the initial evaluation and treatment of patients in assigned areas.
* Performs initial history and physical and documents same appropriately in Electronic Medical Record.

* Writes standard orders in accordance with hospital policy.
* Writes appropriate orders related to pre-existing conditions.
* Discusses physical and/or emotional findings of patient, which may interfere with care of the patient with provider colleagues and practice staff as necessary.
Evaluates patient progress on a continuing basis and in and alters treatment modalities as needed.
* Evaluates medical, social and educational needs of assigned patients.
* Initiates referral to appropriate ancillary departments and community resources based on patient need and documents on the progress note.
* Writes progress notes for each visit documenting pertinent information regarding patient progress and treatment regime.
* Writes orders appropriate to the patient's care requirements in compliance with existing contract.
* Establishes medical diagnoses in compliance with contract.
* Makes immediate referral of acute and or life-threatening patient conditions to emergency department or specialist physician as needed. Documents physical findings and treatment plan pertaining to same.
Performs activities to meet patient/family educational needs.
* Participates actively in health teaching of patient and family to include preventative health care as well as current medical condition and treatment regime. Evidence of same by documentation on progress note and/or established flow sheet.
* Plans and reviews home care instructions with patient and family if needed. Include needs for service provided by community resources and hospital based ancillary services.

Baltimore, MD metro area - Hybrid Hospitalist and SNFist position (3 openings for 2026 start date)

  • Job will consist of covering inpatient hospital rounds on admitted patients in the morning and covering a skilled nursing facility in the afternoons.
  • Hospitals and skilled nursing facilities are all located in the Baltimore, MD metro area.
  • Employed through a private practice in Baltimore, MD with large primary care base and several SNF contracts.
  • Flexible hours as you can start your day when you desire (only requirement is to see your 22 patients per day)
  • One weekend of coverage per month. Can be at a skilled nursing facility or doing local hospital rounds (usually a half day of work).
  • Zero call after hours
  • This is not a block schedule position - Schedule is Monday - Friday with one weekend of coverage per month.
  • No procedures required.
  • Base salary is $260,000 annually. Additional production bonuses available if you see over 22 patients total any given day. Bonus incentives can reach $0,000 - 75,000 annually.
  • Group has a transcription service (scribe), so no need to do any EMR typing. Just dictate notes and the scribe will type for you.
  • 10,000 sign-on bonus, 5K relocation
  • Health benefits, paid time off, 401K, long-term disability, life insurance and CME benefits, medical malpractice, good will bonus, productive bonus (RVU) based.
  • Open to Family medicine or Internal Medicine or Geriatrics trained physicians.
  • Must be Board eligible or certified in Family or Internal Medicine/Geriatrics.
  • J-1 visa sponsorship available for 2026 start date. Group uses Clark-Hill immigration lawfirm and is very experienced with the filing process.
