Quality Control Inspector Qualifications: Work on the line and move components via hand truck Watch to make sure the components are stocked/replenished on the lines Help on the lines when needed Comply with company policies Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities good work ethic, ability to work independently, flexibility (overtime is sometimes required). The candidate must have his/her own reliable transportation, as production/QC duties are ongoing at three different locations (all within 2 blocks of each other). Employees need to be able to drive to their work location, especially in inclement weather. (Work duties may include working in one building for part of the workday and working in another building for the remainder of the day.) Standing: Prolonged periods of standing on production floor (up to 8-10 hours per shift). Walking: Frequent walking around production and packaging areas. Lifting: Occasionally lift and move products or materials up to 25-50 lbs. Bending/Stooping: Regular bending to inspect lower-level machinery or products. Reaching: Frequent reaching over and around equipment or conveyors. Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for handling small samples and using testing equipment. Climbing: Occasionally climb steps or ladders to access equipment or inspection points. Repetitive Motions: Repetitive hand and arm movements when conducting tests or entering data.

Job Description
We're looking for skilled operators to join our team to support daily production safely and efficiently operating our tetra-pak machines.
This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and high food safety standards.
2nd shift - 2pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday, weekends as needed
3rd shift - 10pm-6:30am Monday-Friday, weekends as needed
10% shift differential when working 2nd and 3rd shift hours, $2/hr bonus when working weekends
Attendance Bonus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Filler:
- Operate and monitor production filler equipment to ensure food safety, product quality and conformity to customer standards and specifications.
- Safely and efficiently set up, operate and clean filler machines/equipment as assigned.
- Actively participate in startup, troubleshooting/adjustment, stop/reset and shutdown of line equipment; clearing jams and reporting malfunctions to Supervisor as needed.
- Complete instructions and on-line documentation including Quality and Critical Control Point (CCP) checks accurately and at the required frequencies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed work logs and inventory records.
- Perform machine cleaning and sanitizing per company SOPs
- Actively participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings.
Downline:
- Operation and cleaning of the downline packaging equipment. This includes but is not limited to the Conveyors, Labelers, Drop Packer, Taper, Palletizer, and Case Erector
- Cleaning and CIP functions on the downstream equipment and surrounding area as dictated by the master sanitation plan
- Coordination of label and product changes on the downstream equipment
- Reporting any safety or maintenance issues to your immediate supervisor or by filling out work order requests
- Maintains a high level of productivity in complying with the position requirements
Support:
- Visually inspect the packaging prior to stacking
- Ensuring all boxes are stacked as specified based on item, pallet, and quantity per pallet
- Assist Line Operator with cleaning and quality control operations
- Rotate line duties as requested by the Line Operator
All positions maintain a high level of housekeeping and operating in a safe work environment. Partners also abide by all internal policies. This includes GMP, attendance, productivity, etc.

The production supervisor is responsible for the planning, scheduling and directing the work efforts of the production operations department of the facility in an effort to meet and/or exceed, productivity, safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals, and ensure the department operates according to established company policies and procedures.
**Work Schedule - Mon - Fri - First Shift**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Direct, coordinate and monitor the daily activities and performance of production direct and indirect associates to assure delivery of high productivity, quality, customer service and compliance of standard company policies, procedures, and safety.
+ Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities and performance of the material handling area for both direct and indirect labor.
+ Manage employee performance through motivation, delegation, development, mentoring and resolving conflict.
+ Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and following company policy.
+ Conduct regular department or pre-shift meetings to foster employee engagement, communicate any changes to company policies and procedures, address employee concerns, foster idea-sharing and suggestions for improvement.
+ Participate in staff selection, performance and compensation evaluations, corrective action and terminations, as necessary.
+ Evaluate and interpret business demand, prioritize and distribute daily work assignments.
+ Establish line assignment and staffing depending on the line priority list.
+ Determine and monitor work station assignments/rotation, associate breaks and required overtime.
+ Meet production goals, quality and cost objectives.
+ Monitor and maintain inventory levels in the material handling and production areas by using a warehouse management system (WMS).
+ Review and record all production documentation.
+ Participate in the implementation and roll-out of lean principles using 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban methods and tools.
+ Provide and maintain a safe work environment by directing safety training, generating and reviewing standard operating procedures (SOP).
+ Coordinate efforts with the safety department to aid in training, conducting associate observations, updating preferred work methods, conducting accident investigations to determine root causes and routine safety inspections.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
+ High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent degree; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
**Experience**
+ 3-5 years of Food manufacturing experience required.
+ 3 years leadership experience preferred.
+ **BILINGUAL SPANISH PREFERRED**

+ Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency.
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
