Premise Health is seeking a Full time Occupational Health Physician for our employer based clinic located in Andover, MA
Summary:
Provides direct medical care to client company employees and oversight of advanced practice providers and/or single-site nurse health centers.
Essential Functions:
- Provide occupational health services (i.e., post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams and Worker’s Compensation medical guidance) to employees
- Provides episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients
- Develops treatment plans and monitor progress in collaboration with employees; educates and advises on medical issues as needed
- Demonstrates clinical subject matter expertise appropriate to the services rendered at the health center.
- Provide case review regarding work determinations for deploying personnel
- Oversees the site(s) clinical practices and procedures, including CLIA waived lab and testing if applicable and RN Standing Orders
- Participates in periodic and ad hoc meetings with the Premise Health and Client Corporation Leadership teams
- Participate in rotational after-hours telemedicine coverage amongst physician team, supporting virtual injury hotline
- May be requested to teach/train medical team members and provide mentoring to advanced practitioners and nurses
- May serve as collaborative physician for advanced practice providers.
- Identifies emergency situations and provides care within legal scope of practice and as defined by Premise Health privileging process
- Participates in the development of annual clinic goals and objectives
- May formulate and administer health programs as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- At least three years of post-residency clinical experience
- Must be Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS
- Must have current state(s) and federal DEA certification
- DOT Certification (NRCME) Required
- CAOHC Professional Supervisor Certification Preferred
- Current Certification in AHA Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to collaborate with both medical and non-medical staff (i.e. Safety Department, HR, Site Leaders)
- Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills, confident in all settings with individuals at all levels of the organization, both internal and external

Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
Currently or is eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) or similar
2+ year of experience working in community mental health settings while providing crisis intervention and mental health services to a diverse population of clients and diagnoses
Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems required
Ability to obtain and maintain a record of training completion in Trauma-Informed Care, within 3 months of hire
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Essential Functions:
Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations in alignment with program, agency, and licensing standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic treatment to clients in individual and group therapy sessions in a variety of clinical and/or natural settings.
Complete and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation that aligns with program standards.
Coordinate care needs with internal & external healthcare providers, support staff, and early childhood professionals in order to ensure high-quality services are provided.
Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and treatments.
Offer crisis intervention services when necessary.
Develop progress reports, per appropriate state department, and any additional reporting needed to meet Agency (including billing), federal or state requirements.
Participate in identifying training needs and conducting staff training, especially as it pertains to staff responsibilities.
Provide integrated services within the Early Childhood Centers of Excellence, collaborating with classroom teachers, outpatient providers, and support staff.

Full Time, 40 hours per week
Compensation
$62,400 - $74,880, based on experience and credentials

The Mental Health Professional will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with all other disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit to provide a proactive and collaborative approach in serving the patient population.
MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (LCSW, LCPC, LMSW, LPC) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Professionals will provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and on-going evaluations, and provide consultation to in-house and community services.
- Participate in monthly behavioral health calls, work collaborative with the medical team to best determine overall treatment for each individual.
- The Behavioral Health Professional performs risk assessment of inmates; coordination of care with interdisciplinary team including medical staff, community providers, psychiatric hospitals and corrections; and discharge planning.
- The Mental Health Professional assists in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects.
- The Mental Health Professional provides the necessary preparation of documentation, necessary records and reports.
- The Mental Health Professional utilizes clinical skills such as prioritizing treatment needs; crisis management; brief clinical interventions including CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
- Excellent and timely documentation skills required.
- The ideal candidate is able to make independent clinical decisions, while utilizing assistance and supervisory intervention, as needed.
MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (LCSW, LCPC, LMSW, LPC) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a Licensed, Master’s Level Behavioral Health Clinician, Masters Social Worker (LCSW) who can administer assessments, make clinical decisions, provide Mental Health treatment, and hold any of the following licenses: LCSW, LPC or equivalent. The Behavioral Health Professional co-leads group therapy, one on one therapy, and crisis therapy.
- Graduation from a Master’s level program.
- Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
- Must receive a satisfactory background investigation report.
