PeaceHealth is seeking a Manager Facilities for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position . The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $41.03 - $61.55. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

This position will support over 600K sq. ft. of managed space consisting of 20 locations, including a 14-bed critical access Medical Center, 32 bed in-patient Behavioral Health unit, and 300K sq. ft. corporate office consisting of a distribution center and secondary data center.

Job Summary

Responsible for the organization and supervision of the maintenance and repair of all buildings, grounds, utility systems and the associated mechanical and electrical equipment. Oversees difficult mechanical, electrical and utility repair work. Manages facilities for assigned PeaceHealth owned and leased facilities. Provides leadership to promote a professional and effective department.

Details of the position

  • Serves as the regional Maximo CMMS database administrator.

  • Ensures all operations meeting require regulatory and code requirements.

  • Prepares departmental budgets and monitors each budget to ensure operation within the approved budget.

  • Interprets policies and procedures to personnel as needed. Prepares and gives caregiver annual evaluations and makes recommendations to director concerning caregiver performance and related personnel actions.

  • Responsible for oversight of facility, and utility contract services. Negotiates costs, establishes contracts and conducts inspections to maintain quality standards.

  • Supervises assigned staff, including hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, development. and performance management.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview

The Asset Manager II will be responsible to work with a set of customers to review energy usage and strategies in order to implement the best practices. This will include directly managing the O&M of the CEP for the campus, working with, and mentoring the owner-s staff on the O&M and energy usage of multiple facilities as part of a greater campus effort.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing of energy usage on a daily basis for the facility and to provide guidance, best practices, and modifications of current operations.

  • Mentoring the owner on energy strategies.

  • Managing the Central Energy Plant Operation and Maintenance including subcontractors, operators, and internal service providers.

  • Managing the Maintenance Reserve Accounts for the CEP.

  • Working with the operators to ensure the plant operates efficiently.

  • Performing on-going training of the Plant Operators.

  • Developing and maintaining the Plant Operating Manual.

  • Assisting the EPC team with the coordination of engineering, procurement and construction activities with OMC operations.

  • Coordinating on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts with remote support services team.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in mechanical construction with a large mechanical subcontractor or MEP design consultant or 3-4 years of management experience in a central plant or facility.

  • Well versed in building codes and associated standards.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Versed in the industry and the Company-s competitors.

The incumbent in this position is responsible for facility operations and maintenance for all Health & Human Services Department facilities and real properties serving Seminole Tribe of Florida. Facility Manager Certification (CFM) is preferred. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Demonstrate excellent written (technical and non-technical) and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. The incumbent must possess a valid Florida Drivers License and must be able to travel to all Seminole Reservations. With an extensive national presence and round-the-clock availability, they are recognized for their unmatched service quality and dedication.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Leader with deep expertise in Hospital Facility Management, Risk Management, and Hospital Operations. The ideal candidate will bring an established network, extensive knowledge of industry standards, and a proven ability to lead teams and drive program success. This individual will understand how to execute emergency responsiveness during a catastrophic event (ie: fire, water, hurricane, etc.)This individual can reside in any of the following states: Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana or Michigan. This position is remote and will require extensive travel throughout the state you reside in and the other states where the hospital systems are located.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and guide strategic operations for hospital facility management and risk initiatives.Develop and maintain strong C-Level relationships with healthcare - hospital institutions, leveraging relationships to form new partnerships for emergency preparedness within the hospital systems.Implement best practices in risk management, ensuring compliance with healthcare industry standards.Act as a key liaison with industry organizations, such as the American Society for Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) Lead teams to achieve program performance objectives and deliver exceptional service.Facilitate and Train ICRA 2.0 compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, optimize efficiency, and ensure client satisfaction.Represent the company at industry events and foster a positive brand presence.Requirements:7+ years of experience in hospital operations, hospital facility management, Healthcare Emergency management response, Facility Engineering, Risk Management, or Handled a large emergency within a hospital environment.Develop and facilitate an emergency plan of action in the event of a catastrophic occurrence.Manage daily operations for extensive multi-site healthcare systems.Oversee risk management and patient safety programs.Strong working knowledge of healthcare engineering and regulatory compliance.Existing relationships and memberships in professional organizations such as ASHE.Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.Must implement comprehensive facility management programs that align with Joint Commission standards and state health codes.Initiate a multi-facility infrastructure review that results in enhanced HVAC, emergency response, and infection control protocols.
